Elizabeth and Joe made the ultimate sacrifice and opened their home to us until I could get back on my feet. Now we were on our way home and to meet our beautiful Emily Jane. We had skyped before, so we had seen her over the computer, but now in just a very short amount of time, we would finally be seeing and holding her at last!

Running head: Reflective Essay It is good to be a College Student IDS 4001 Dr. Joseph L. Kibitlewski, Ph D. April 6, 2010 Graduating from college has always been my personal passion since I was a little girl. Upon graduating from high school twenty years ago, I have attended different colleges. January 2002, when I first coming to this country I did not think about going back to college anymore, because it seemed like it was too hard for me as a single mother with two children, and a full time job. In 2005, after a lot of experiences that I have been through to get a better job with a good pay and a good benefit, I found out it wasn’t too easy for me because I don’t have a college degree. Then, I realized there is nothing better than being a college student, and at the beginning of 2006 I decided to go back to college for another orientation in my life.

On the other hand, Da-Duh could have experienced living in the moment if she had accepted the new life, which was in the form of the postcard. When Da-Duh’s granddaughter talks about the tall buildings, she brings up a postcard.

Faith was giving her goodbyes to friends at a dance the night before her leave. Late that night, Faith was searching for a ride home and found herself with Robert Willie and David Vaccaro. They blindfolded and tied Faith and put her in the back of their vehicle.
I enlisted on January 18th, 2007. Off to Fort Knox, KY for basic combat, I remember being nervous and fearful entering into the unknown. I had left a great family at home as well as a very beautiful girlfriend whom I would later marry. I spent 12 weeks at Fort Knox, KY then 16 weeks at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD. Finally, July 2007 I had completed my training and headed home for leave, then to Schofield Barracks, HI to be stationed for three years.
Then as now there will be new goals to aspire, problems that I will have to solve and wonderful moments to cherish! Once I get used to the life in the big city I will come back here, albeit briefly. I hope things will be the same, I sincerely want to keep in touch with my current friends and I hope there will be someone whom I can rely on and feel good
