A Golden Year for the Golden Heart “Son, I’m proud of you.” It felt strong, I felt precious, and love was an amazing feeling. She was sleeping, and we woke her up. It was a day of her 50th year, rewinding life of what she had done, and what she had become. We gathered together to make an exceptional bash. She was my first love, my first woman and a figure worth a thousand gold. She was a lover for him, a mother of us, and an inspiration for all. It was a silent night; she supposed to not know anything about this. We spoke silently, trying to sense the hype underneath moon and stars. My brother kept her inside my room until she went asleep, while Dad & I quickly prepared the surprise. This was my last time celebrating her birthday in our hometown, before I go abroad to the busy maple city. Nevertheless, it was one of those wonderful days I would never forget. Days before, my Dad bought a purse of Aigner for her. It was the first time I saw my Dad bought her a purse like a daylight robbery; he paid it a bit over the odds. Size wise, it was pretty enormous, and I wondered where would he hide the present. Thus I giggled, when he hided it in her own cabinet, together with her overload attires & Vuitton pieces. His idea? Awe-inspiringly stunning. The clock dinged into 12. My stomach fluttered butterflies inside, my heart raced like a runaway train, going faster and faster. Music? Check. Cupcakes? Done. Birthday cake? Yum. Banners that I made for 5 days? Hell yes. Dad’s present & flowers? We were ready. Sigh, I hope I could have balloons too, but every store were close at that time, moreover it was a Ramadan season, so mostly stores were close and people went to their hometowns.
