The preparation that is put into these child beauty pageants is vital. In most cases, the first task on the extremely long pre pageant to do list is the spray tan. Of course every pageant girl wants to look perfectly sun kissed. When it comes to a spray tan, “the darker the better” is the motto all pageant girls live by. The pageant moms pay hundreds of dollars to have the “best of the best” spray their child down with a can of orange spray paint.
Although, the main reason is because I’ve always admired fashion. Now that I am old enough to choose my choices in life, I am really hoping I get a chance with the fashion industry. Although my lack of attendance in school does get in the way of many opportunities, but once I am focused, I will do whatever it takes to get this kind of opportunity. With much different inspiration coming from many different aspects I’ve always dreamed of being a fashion designer. Becoming a fashion designer has always been my top 1 priority.

Process Analysis Devonta Thompson COMM150: Research and Writing Ms.Butler December 20, 2012 When I first started my classes initial thoughts on my career choice was that my career path was the right one for me. The reason being is that I realized at a young age that I would work better if I worked for myself; so I started up my own photography company. The decision to own my own business was as clear as black and white, what I mean by that is that I had no doubts that I would work better telling others what to do verse someone else telling me what to do. Plus my career path fits my personality; simply because I love women I work with them all day; I enjoy running my mouth and all do is run my mouth either to close a deal or convince
For this piece we were allowed to choose to make what ever we wanted as long as we told our professor about it first and showed her a sketch of it in our sketchpads. I chose to make a vase for my mother. I thought at first it was not going to be hard but I would soon realize later in my journal entries just how challenging making a vase is. I started off by using the techniques I was shown to build up the vase. When
Peace, Love and Tie-Dye Nicole Patton Harrisburg Area Community College What do you think of when you hear tie-dye? Are hippies the first thing to come to mind? I personally have worn my own hand-crafted tie-dye shirts on several occasions. As a preteen I went through my hippie stage; I was so fascinated by the culture that even for Halloween I dressed up in a colorful hippie tie-dye t-shirt. Creating my colorful t-shirt was easy to make, but there were detailed steps that was followed to get the result I wanted.
What made this school stand out from other schools was that not only do you have the regular elementary school naptimes and classes, but your parents get to assign you a particular language to be in. Unfortunately, I moved and was pulled out of the school after finishing my 3rd grade year. In the 4th and 5th grade I started at Taylor Schools and went to McDowell Elementary School and once again I moved to where I am currently, Southgate. I have lived in Southgate ever since then. In the 6th grade, I was starting middle school and this was where I truly discovered my love for music.
I ended up going through many ideas. At first, I wanted a pink and purple butterfly I saw in a picture. The woman who had the tattoo in the picture had it on her shoulder, but I knew I wanted the tattoo to be on my foot. Then later I saw a beautiful cross and I thought it would look really nice on my foot. My junior year of high school, however, I decided to take a step back and really
Shontel Harris Conquering Cosmetology School Growing up as a child I had so many dreams and desires. My biggest desire was to become a licensed cosmetologist. I’ve always had a passion for doing hair, as a child I spent countless hours playing with Barbie dolls. I decided to start cosmetology school in my junior year of high school. I didn’t know how I was going to conquer this task, because I worked part time in the evenings after school.
I’m still here, caring and looking after her every step of the way. I know this is one of the biggest days of her life, one she has been looking forward to ever since she was young, and one that she will remember for the rest of her life. I can still remember one of our conversations like it was just yesterday, one about her dream wedding. It would be sweet and quiet, nothing too fancy, with white roses and lilies everywhere. She always talked endlessly about what her dress would be like and how she wanted a veil that floated freely down her face that could be pushed back over her head like in the movies.
