A Day on Bare Mountain I excitedly walked on the huge plane. I was so eager I could hardly walk through the gate tunnel to the plane because my legs were wobbling with impatience. I finally got onto the plane until I found out the plane was delayed for two hours. Would I ever get to Africa to help build shelters for the poor? The plane finally started to move. Up, up and away. In the middle of the flight the flight attendance came round and told everyone to fasten their seatbelts and get on their life jackets on. I really started to worry, but I tried to stay calm and stay relaxed. I was just siting their when I felt myself going downwards. At that moment the plane crashed into a mountain, everyone was screaming. Luckily enough I was beside the wing so I smashed the door opened and jumped out. I escaped with a few minor cuts and burns but I knew I was blessed to have survived. I sat beside the plane for a while and then all of a sudden the plane burst up into flames. That’s when I knew I was the only survivor of the plane crash. It was getting dark at this time. Would I every get out of this place? A saw this cave far away in the distance. I thought that if I climbed up the mountain I would be able to sleep in it for the night for some shelter. As I was climbing up the mountain I came across a tourist information board. I was reading the information when I came across these big red letters in bold, they said “Beware of this mountain, no one has ever came back down the mountain again.” I was a little bit nervous whether or not I should go up the mountain. I started to rain heavily, so I decided to walk up the mountain, it was probably just a myth. I was walking very quickly up the mountain because it was raining but it was no use since I was just getting tired faster. I was so hungry at this point and my mouth was dry with thirst.
