USPP Music of the USA Name: amanda Concert Project 1 A concert performance to remember. A musical concert is a live performance performed by a group of people/ band before an audience. There are different types of concert and it is based on the numbers of performers, the instrument used and the genre of the music performed. On the twelveth day of June at nine O’clock, I attended a concert at ryder halls. The concert was part of my syllabus for the term, it was performed by a group of people. This was my first time attending a concert in the United States, I was so excited, therefore, I dint know what to expect. It was a band made up of five people; four men and a lady. The bands opening song was “day tripper” a song by the Beatles, the song is one of my favorite from the list of songs in the syllabi because of simple reasons. I really enjoyed the concert, I could see how the musicians play the instrument so well, they had great vocal. The music I heard is quite better than the ones on record that I have heard. So many songs were played but the one that made me dance was the song by Michael Jackson titled “don’t stop till you get enough”. There is really an audience to the band connection unlike that of listening to a recording –I got to see the instruments and how they were used. In a musical live concert, you could be opportune to interact with the band or artist and ask questions relating to their performance, as I did after the one being performed. The song I like to discuss about in the concert is “don’t stop till you get enough” by Michael Jackson. It’s a song written and recorded by Michael Jackson, this song was his first solo, and the song is about how people want themselves to be, the singer is practically telling his audience “not to stop till they get enough”.
