In contrast, apples are usually red or green, and oranges are surprisingly an orange color. Also, apples are crisp and generally sweet, whereas oranges are juicy and sour or tangy. Most people will eat the outer layer on an apple, but the outer layer on an orange is usually peeled off before of it is eaten. Oranges contain calcium, which helps strengthen bones, while apples contain cancer fighting antioxidants called flavenoids. Apples can grow in a variety of climates but oranges can normally only grow in tropical regions.
The experiment hypothesis " If three drops of pectinase are stirred into applesauce and used to produce apple juice then it will produce more than water or cellulase because the fruit cells walls gets breaken down and gets turned into apple juice". The independent variable is the type of enzyme which gets mixed into the applesauce. The dependent variable is the amount of apple sauce which bgets created. A few controll variables are to use the same amount of applesauce and enzymes and to stirring the cup with the same amount everytime Materials: • Apple sauce • Pectinase enzyme • Cellulase enzyme • Funnels • Filter • Paper towels • Droppers (one for each enzyme) • Stirring rods • Graduated cylinder • Access to water • Beakers • timer Safety: • Put on safety glasses, or safety goggles. • Tie back any long hair that is hanging down.
Of course the Honey Nut Cheerios have honey and ground almonds mixed in, to give off their great honey taste. While on the other hand, Apple Cinnamon Cheerios have dried apple pieces, cinnamon and brown sugar. Both add preservatives to add freshness to the cereals. Sometimes the preservatives can be harmful if not properly used which does not happen very often. The big question is which is healthier Honey Nut or Apple Cinnamon.
You want to be sure to scrape the sides of the bowl to get all the extra mix off the sides and bottom. Next, you set your mix aside and cover the bottom of your pan with pecans. You can used crushed or whole pecans, but you want to be sure to cover the entire bottom of the pan. Then, you want to cover the pecans with a somewhat thick layer of coconut. You want to make sure to cover the pecans completely but you don’t want too much coconut because it will get in the cake and if it gets too far up, it won’t taste right.
Liquids don't satisfy as much as solid foods, so people tend to lose track and compensate for the calories in their drink with the calories they eat. Fred Schmitt Period 5 12/17/12 Mr. Simko Extracting DNA from a Strawberry Abstract This lab report is about how to remove DNA from a strawberry. The main purpose of this paper is to inform you on how to remove DNA from a strawberry. The hypothesis is, the DNA will look like twisted strands and fibers of string. We will use test tubes, coffee filters, and many other materials. Some important points in this experiment is that you need to crush to strawberry very well and when you add the lysis solution not to make bubbles while mixing.

Servings of nuts and cooking with olive oil are great examples of unsaturated (healthy) fats. Dairy is a favorite of many diets and these products can still be enjoyed, but one would be advised to take the low fat route. Also, individuals should try to limit the additional sugars and fats found in soft drinks and fast food (Developing healthful eating habits is not so hard, 2012). Most individuals will find that there can be great joy in eating these products. A lot of them are convenient, fruit can easily be washed or peeled and is quickly ready to eat as a healthy snack, nuts can be packaged quite conveniently and are easily portioned out for another great snack and dairy products are clearly labeled as low fat options while still containing much of the same great taste.
Analysis: My conclusion, that the change in enzymes will affect the amount of apple juice produced because each enzyme will work differently with the apple sauce, can be proved with the data from this experiment. It can be proved because when the enzyme was changed different amounts of apple juice were produced. An example of this could be the pectinase and cellulase solutions. When the cellulase was added to the apple sauce it produced only 1 mL of apple juice, but when the pectinase was added to the apple sauce it produced 4.5 mL of apple juice. That is a change of 3.5 mL from one enzyme to another.
The stick just happened to act as a good eating utensil however, had to be pulled out of the ground and forced against its original stance. Another example is a fruit such an apple we could say that the designer created this apple for source of food however it could also be eaten because its actually tastes good or is good for our health. This argument states that the apple was taken off the true to best suit the need, of becoming food because it tastes good. Therefore the apple suited the purpose of what was needed from it. Many items could be used for purposes that best suit them, and this does not take intelligent design.
