A Christmas Tradition Most people love celebrating Christmas. Families get together, decorate the house, eat abundant amounts of food, and what makes Christmas unique is that every family has different family traditions, which makes Christmas celebrations special in their own way. My family tradition is especially close to my heart because it involves everyone in my enormous family. Christmas only happens once a year, so every 365 days a year, you need to cherish the time you have with your loved ones. Every year, my parents and relatives go all out on decorations. My parents, on the other hand, are a little more traditional than most. They love the basics. The beautiful twinkling white lights on the house, the sparkly snow powder that lines the windows, the fill our house with cinnamon sticks and light the sweet smelling candles all over the place and you definitely can't forget the magnificent fresh Christmas tree. Christmas would be nothing without the Christmas tree. My family likes to center the tree in the heart of the living room and decorate it with shimmering gold ornaments and rich red ornaments topped off with a majestic angel. The warmth of our fireplace fills the house the with a certain feeling that just brings everyone together. The food my family bring together is absolutely delicious. Our Christmas dinner contains a variety of different foods. From sweet honey smoked ham, to savory deviled eggs, to creamy Mac and cheese, to rich three-layer fudge cake. My family can make it all. We all like to set our oak wood table in completely red and gold table cloths with arctic white china. Our Christmas dinner is never boring, it is always filled with laughter and excitement.
