Research On The Literary Figure : William Wordsworth 1.0 Introduction Nowadays, adults and educators saw the importance of literary work in shaping one’s language mind and critical thinking skills. The philosophical aspects of literature are said to be very significant to its development and popularity as early as the time before centuries. As a matter of fact, we as future English teachers should appreciate literary works more than the others. Basically, we are bond to the literature since we started to become an advance learner in English subject. Subsequently, now we are given a chance to conduct a research on one of the famous literature figures that has the most influence towards our literature studies. The way his or her works affect our mindset is also a notable aspect throughout the process of analyzing the prominent figure of literature. Undoubtedly, our group have chosen the well-known man of poetry and short stories, and his name is William Wordsworth. 2.0 Biography Of William Wordsworth William Wordsworth was born on April 7th, 1770, in Cockermouth, Cumberland, England. Young William’s parents, John and Ann, died during his boyhood. Raised amid the mountains of Cumberland alongside the River Derwent, Wordsworth grew up in a rustic society, and spent a great deal of his time playing outdoors, in what he would later remember as a pure communion with nature. In the early 1790s William lived for a time in France, then in the grip of the violent Revolution; Wordsworth’s philosophical sympathies lay with the revolutionaries, but his loyalties lay with England, whose monarchy he was not prepared to see overthrown. While in France, Wordsworth had a long affair with Annette Vallon, with whom he had a daughter, Caroline.
