In my opinion I think I like all year around in school. If kids really look at it, we get alota days out for a break. Many schools also need to come on there education because the drop out rate may come back up if it already haven’t. Many schools say they do many things to help students and they really care about the students, blah blah blah, some schools are just all talk. Schools have at least a hand full of teachers that really care about the students life after high school, some teachers make sure that there students go to college and some don’t even care what goes on when were out of there classroom.
Along with that I hope to learn more about better time management in my college skills 105 class. College skills class with be a very important one because, many people including myself need better time management skills. Lastly I look forward to further sharping my skills as a writer in English 101. In this day and age writing and proper grammar seem to be a passing fad, but to be successful in today’s modern world I believe it is extremely important to maintain and further advance these skills.
I believe that year-round schools should be at least an option in our district. First off, and very important to the students is that a year-round school gives students and teachers with a break every 2 months or so. Additionally, if we had the option of a year-round school then it would help to prevent some students from being taken out of school often for a family vacation to Mammoth or Mexico. Lastly, a year-round school would give the teachers a more time for teaching, ultimately letting them cover the required material more thoroughly. I believe that now is the time to change our educational system as we know it for the benefit of teachers, students and their parents!
But college drop outs also can able be due to the unequal college preparation given in high schools. The education system needs to be reformed so students have the opportunity to choose whether they want to go to college or do vocational training instead. A college degree is bringing more negative aspects into a student’s life therefore students, especially from working class, must know the alternatives to be able to succeed. Most of the students in the United States are middle or working class. In addition of going to school, working class students also have to get a job to be able to help out their families.
If they do not update the information when needed they are giving false information losing them their future customers. Customer feedback By allowing customers to give feedback on the website it means that the company will know how to improve their website and make it more user-friendly. Most websites tend to have contact page where they will have an email address, telephone number or address or a short form that can be filled out. Once this has been done the company will have a set team who will check for feedback at the end of every week. Feedback is important to MSM driving school as they just opened a new website and it is vital they make it useable for all ages.
Imagine attending a school full of many intelligent students who just don’t care. At the beginning of the year students start breaking small rules like texting in class and dress code. As the year progresses students start breaking bigger rules like fighting. Recently the students just broke an enormous rule; the food fight. I’ve noticed that Heath has a negative climate, and the 8th graders are going to change it.
More Time In Class? Introduction A longer school year or school day has been a heavily debated topic in the United States for several years now.. Recently, President Barrack Obama has further expanded his thoughts on this issue, stating that he acknowledges that longer school years and school days are not widely popular, but that the challenges our country faces demands more time in the classroom for students. Many students disagree with Obama's proposal, but still some would like to hear out his argument. Many students say that they would protest longer school days and years if it was passed, doing so by walking straight out of the school doors.
Some of the concerns were lack of space in high school cafeteria, school safety, school after care programs ,and head coach for high school football. These were a few of the concerns mention during public floor. High school students was upset that the Board was not concerned with building an larger cafeteria for the students and that they should not have to go outside to an trailer for additional space to eat there lunch. Students also wanted to know why the locker room showers has not been repaired. A few teachers spoke on having more safety measuring during school and after school.
Both are at the least twenty minutes away. Driving back and forth to school everyday could become a burden after awhile and that cause students to transfer to the school they are closest to. There are plenty of ways that Langston University could do to improve the campus. If they take time to listen and hear the voice of the students then the university could improve. Hopefully someone will step up and speak and voice the opinion of the
High school should be a big challenge for me academically, and I am ready to take it head on. It will also be spiritually different for me, too. Obviously, many kids will change over the course of the summer going into high school. They’ll want to fit in more, and try to act cooler as a result. Also, many of my own friends are leaving, and many new students are coming in.
