A case study between IIUM students and disabled people towards the use of multimedia function in Facebook™

This present paper consist a study with regards to act of opinion between IIUM students and disabled people. All subjects were taken from International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) and some of the places around Kuala Lumpur such as Malaysian Association for The Blind at Jalan Tun Sambathan, Central Market, and Masjed Jamek. The data were collected using open-ended and close-ended questionnaires based on users’ opinion about the use of multimedia functions provided by Facebook™. The findings suggest that not only normal users who can use social networking services to connect with other people but the disabled people also have the desire to do as well.

Internet can be defined as a system that connects billions of users in the whole wide world. It also consists of many public, private, education and even government networks based on their purposes. Nowadays internet is something that been used in daily life, something that cannot be taken away from people or users. Without the internet, there will be lots of interruption activities because most of users rely on the internet the make their job done such as online business transaction, doing research papers or even connecting people worldwide.
The most common thing that most users do on the internet is about social networking. Social networking is something that is a must for a user. More than half of internet users have at least one social network account. Social network is a networking service that focuses on creating online communities between internet users throughout the world.
