What Is Happiness?

Throughout the course of my life. I have experienced many difficulties that I would rather forget. I have been frustrated by my mother’s ignorance. I have been made a joke throughout my high school life in marching band. I have been kept as an outsider in many activities. But those will never stop me from being the happy person that I am. In today’s society, we have to be aggressive in order to catch up with everything that is going on around us. However, sometimes, someone would get so caught up in trying to update themselves that they forget what happiness is. They even forget who they are as a person. They will never get to say, “I feel good emotionally,” because they cannot. Well I can because I can slow myself down from the outside world. I need to be worry-free of whatever that is going around me from the outside world. Probably not totally depressing myself from everything. And when I say happiness, I do not mean happiness as in wealth, luxurious car, a mansion, owning hundreds of acres of land, wearing expensive jewelries, eating at fancy restaurants, or even having hundreds of dollars in your wallet at a time. Happiness should be excitement, passion, exhilaration, fulfillment, freedom, feeling fully alive with inspiration and joy, peaceful, content, capable, hopeful, satisfied, and have comfortable feeling. For example, if you take a millionaire and compare that person to a poor person, we would say the millionaire would be happy. However, I say the poor person will be happy with his poor family as well. Majority of the time, once a millionaire is a millionaire, they tend to live by themselves. Greedy and lonely. With all that money, they would have responsibilities because they will never know if it would disappear one day. They also need to make good use of it as well such as investing the money or putting it to good use for the economy. However, the
