I started setting goals for myself when I first started to see my grades began to weaken in my early high school years. It was evident why they were diminishing; it was because I wasn’t motivated anymore. So my parents told my I should start setting goals, something to look forward to in life and to motivate me in everyday life. Of course my number one goal was to graduate high school and get accepted to college. That I have accomplished, I was accepted into The University of Central Florida. I am currently finishing up my last semester and found that my motivation is slowly diminishing again. What better time to write out my goals than right now, the moment where everything in my life could change. My new short-term goal is to graduate college; my long-term goal is to either get a full time job or take more classes and get my Certified Nursing Assistant so I can apply to numerous Physician Assistant schools. However, my main goal for the future is to obtain a sense of being personally fulfilled, regardless or what I choose to do professionally. I want to be satisfied with my decisions and to be able to accept and forgive and most of all live up to the expectation I have set for myself. I realize that I cannot set my goals and dreams on the basis of other and I need to achieve the things I want in life for myself. I will only accomplish my goal of being fulfilled when I am able to live my life for myself and still be able to provide love and support to others. My primary goal is of course to graduate the University of Central Florida. What I do after that is still somewhat up in the air but I have many options. I have already currently applied for and received a position at Blackbaud, a non-profit accounting software firm based in Charleston, North Carolina. I would be working as a marketing intern dealing with companies such as the World Wildlife Fund. I came
