2.1 Why it is important to adhere to the scope of the job. It is important to adhere to the agreed scope of the job role as this sets out boundaries in my job role, enables me to know my role and responsibilities. Knowing my own level of competence and skills, knowing my job description enabling myself to carry out the care and knowledge required to set good care within the Health and Social care. 2.2 Access full and up to date details and agreed ways of working Agreed Ways' in other words means following policies and procedures and working accordance with. Policies and procedures consists of all rules and legislations regarding my job role I will play within my working organisation which is set by my employer and must be followed. It will explain what I am allowed to do or not to do. In fact, it describes how my employer requires me to perform my working role. Without the term 'agreed ways of working' I would remain unaware and unfamiliar to my roles and responsibilities. I also cause harm or danger to myself or service users if I don’t follow the policies and procedures and will find myself liable for my actions. Agreed ways of working refers to the service users care plan and as long as I am carrying this out I feel I will be implementing my role as agreed. 2.3 Implement agreed ways of working. To implement agreed ways of working I would follow the care plan which will have been put in place. Duty of care is the obligation I will have to exercise, a level of care towards an individual, as is reasonable in all the circumstances, to avoid injury I must respect and support their choices but I also have a duty of care to keep them
