This book wasn’t really my favorite. I didn’t really like the book because it was kind of repetitive as Haw kept talking about cheese, I got lost in it at some times. I didn’t really understand what the cheese was representing. It does make a good point about change though, and how change is okay and learning how to deal with change is important. That change happens, and that sometimes change is good. Tells you to move with it, that Life moves on, and so should you. Tells you to accept change and to adapt to it. It also tells you that if u don’t move with change you can be stuck. When I read this book I think I relate to Haw the most. In the beginning of the story when his friend Hem refuses to change, Haw decides to go for it and move forward and change with the cheese. Haw’s decision to change makes him realize that he made the right decision and that he learned from the cheese changing. I can think of a time where a made a good decision and accepted change. When I changed schools and came to Yorba Linda High School 3 years ago. At first I didn’t want to change schools cause I was comfortable of where I was already at. I started to think that the opening of this school was a bad thing but I realized that this school had many new and exciting opportunities and decide to change school, and it has been one of the smartest decisions I have ever made. Haw shows that sometimes change is can be good and good things can come out of it. As I look back at the decision I made, it changed my life for the better and I’m glad I did make that decision. The story of Who Moved My Cheese? applies to my life all the time. I always deal with change, whether it is in sports or in my personal life. Things always change in sports and its how you deal with that change that will determine the outcome of what you accomplish. I am used to having things change. When I came to this
