Four Tranformational Learning Cycle

The four transformational learning cycle is phase one, phase two, achieving a personal goal, and failing to achieve a personal goals. Phase one and two learning transformational learning cycle is called “seasonal” pattern. It also, is a patterning of emphasizes the continual nature of the learning process. Achieving a personal goal and failing to achieve personal goals is a renewing and transformative process. Both of these cycles are dealing with everyday life. (R. Wayne Clugston, EdD, Learning Online and Achieving Lifelong Goals, Co-Founder, Accreditation Specialist, Bridgepoint Education) One of the learning experiences that I experience in the transformational learning process is when I moved from Wildwood, Florida to Kissimmee, Fl. It was a better environment. Also the schools were a better for me to get a great education. It was a much faster living experience then Wildwood. It was different from wildwood schools because the teachers there were willing to teach you so you can. It was very quiet and you did not have to worry about people getting kill. Also my uncle needed someone to help take care of him. This was the next best thing to happen in my life. Moving to the better environment kept me out of trouble and for doing thing I suppose to not have been doing. I achieve a lot of my goals that I had in my life. The Mezirow’s phase that applies to my experience is the exploring process. I describe the exploring process as a planning a course of doing different roles. Reference R.
