Small World ensures safety, love, and quality care in every aspect of childcare and security/privacy is nothing short of just that! I would also like to comment on a recent observation I made with “Kayleigh” an ABC Teacher with an ECE masters degree at Small World. Kayleigh has a very bubbly, outgoing, and motivated personality. She works hard to ensure love is given to each individual child. She always greets the parents with the children in the morning using puppets, or any form of communication that is available at the particular time.

In my opinion, it is a family where at least one parent is present and active and the children are smart, respectful and independent. Although most people think that both parents must be present for this to occur, there are valuable lessons and chapter building exercises that a child will encounter if only one parent is present. In chapter one of Mary Childers’s book Welfare Brat A Memoir, titled Cherry Pie, Mary’s mother was raising five children in a home with only one parent present. I think that there are several character descriptions that make a person successful.
Every time she was faced with hardship, she remembered the struggles that her parents faced and it gave her strength to continue on her journey. In addition to everything happening in high school, she was also very involved with her church. She sang in the choir, taught catechism, created a youth group and attended many retreats. This all taught her how to deepen her faith and have better time

According to the Feldman’s e-book Discovering the Lifespan (e-text 2011), authoritative parent are firm, setting clear, consistent limits but they are loving and emotionally supportive; they also encourage their children to be independent (Feldman, e-text 2011, p.187). However, the environment places also play an important role in order to identify the child personalities and successfulness, I am surely could predict how Chloé adulthood will be like by watching her childhood. Her environment places might changed in future but her theme of personalities will still remain consistently. On the other hand, Chloé successfulness can be determined and evaluated my way of parenting was beneficial for her life or not. Lastly, this lab is sure a useful place to applied what I’ve learned to make the best choice for resolving any given situations.
There aren’t many people who are as strong as her to push their selves to overcome their struggles. Not only did she learn a lesson, but so did all her loved ones. They became more united as a family. Anything is possible when you give it your all and don’t give your hopes up. Also, the positive things she’s done going out her way after her recovery, talking to others about her experience and how she was able to get on her feet is an awesome thing she did.
Geddes’ essay was effective overall and managed to get the point across. There is a transition throughout the essay, from the start of her childhood to growing up into adulthood. The reader is able to understand the respect that she has for her family and community in the beginning and then the harsh reality of the intolerance for diversity as she goes to school. In the end she does realize that she is good enough to go to post secondary despite what people may have said earlier. Believing in yourself and remembering where you come from builds character and you should not let anyone tell you otherwise.

People learn something different everyday even though they may not pay attention to the lesson. People take education for granted as well as continuing to become more educated over the course of life. People with disabilities thrive at the chance to learn because the odds are against them. What most people take for granted is what people with disabilities wish they could accomplish as easy as those without disabilities.
Maria Montessori – A Lifelong Journey of Respect How does someone become the person they are today? Is it purely inborn, a genetic coding that is static and predictable? Or is it instead moulded by experiences in childhood, like impressions in malleable clay that is not allowed to dry and harden for decades? If we consider Maria Montessori, the latter point is clearly more definitive of her development as a leader, educator and advocate for children. Through her experiences at home, at school and in the community as a young child in Ancona, Italy (and later Rome) she developed an intense and deep-seated belief in the importance of respect and devotion for a healthy, educated and cooperative society.
