Pilgrims were religious people who travel to make sacred, to holy places in Jerusalem. In 1065, the Turks captured the city of Jerusalem. About three thousand Christians were killed and others were mistreated which led to the crusade for the resurrection of the holy crusade. The deaths and treatment of these Christians motivated the storm throughout in Europe, resulting in the desire to save the holy land and Jerusalem from the “infidel.” Religious, Christian wants to visit the holy land for the remembrance of the sacrifice our Lord, Jesus Christ made as the Lamb of God. Not only people with religious conviction had the courage to resurrect
The first chapters of the Book of Exodus describe the hardships suffered by the Hebrew slaves: “the Egyptians made the children of Israel to serve with rigour: and they made their lives bitter with hard bondage, in morter, and in brick, and in all manner of service in the field: all their service, wherein they made them serve, was with rigour” (verse 12-14). As the Hebrew population continued to grow Pharaoh came up with the solution to control it: he ordered the Hebrew midwives, as well as all his people (the Egyptians), to kill the Hebrew baby boys at birth and throw them
Only one can pull off all of the above. Osama bin Laden. Born in 1957 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, bin Laden’s troubled childhood, radical views, and extreme actions have made him a notorious figure world wide. Osama bin Laden stood against the United States and the Jews of Israel. He has used profound acts of hatred to wage a deadly war against all of Western Civilization in the name of Islam.
Herod The Great – Or Was He? Herod the Great is quite possibly one of the most hated figures in the entire Bible. His actions at the announcement of the birth of Jesus were nothing short of evil; however, not much is known from Scripture about this evil man. The only references that we have concerning him are found in the birth of Christ narratives in Matthew and in Luke. Upon hearing the claims from the Magi that they had come to worship the King of the Jews, he ordered what has become known as the “Massacre of the Innocents”[10].
News Paper Analysis July 22nd 1934 marked a very important day in history for America. One of the most dangerous men, John Dillinger, was shot and killed. During the 1930’s depression, America was going through a crucial time where finding money was a very dangerous thing to do. Helpless people made heroes out of criminals who took what they wanted at gunpoint and that’s exactly what John Dillinger and his gang did. Dillinger and his gang robbed over 24 banks and all together killed a total of 10 people.
Especially when the plagues start to descend upon Egypt killing many around the Pharaoh, one starts to wonder why he is still so proud and stubborn. To explain, God reveals to Moses that he repeatedly “harden(s) Pharaoh’s heart, that I may multiply My signs and marvels in the land of Egypt.”(Ex 7.13) Here God explains his seemingly counterintuitive plan. He continues to harden the Pharaoh’s heart over and over again in an effort to make God’s power increasingly prevalent and obvious. If Pharaoh had given up at the first sign of trouble, which one probably would have if suddenly his nation’s rivers ran red with blood and his villages were overrun with frogs and disgusting insects, God’s strength wouldn’t have been exhibited as
He led the revolt against the Moabite domination. He used trickery and murdered the Moabite King Eglon and gave Israel 80 years of peace. Shamgar was the third judge and also the son of Anath. (Judges 3:31) He rescued Israel from the Philistines. He alone once killed 600 Philistines with an ox goad.

Adolph Hitler is the ultimate example of a tyrant. He built a new army in Germany and a new way of life; without the minorities. Hitler’s government killed millions of Jews and other minorities such as homosexuals and gypsies. On a not so radical display of Tyranny of the Majority, I want to show an example from my local community. There is a long standing festival in Luling, Texas; the Watermelon Thump.
