As new technology is developed I will enjoy learning new procedures. * I possess the communication skills and attention to detail that is required of a radiation therapist. I am ready and committed to becoming a Radiation Therapist. I look forward to the challenges, hard work and rewards I know will come with my career choice. Unfortunately, I do not qualify for any Federal or State grant money so I must rely on personal finances and student loans to pay for my schooling.
I am a natural leader of people. When in doubt, I will not hesitate to get advice because failure is not an option to me. Some of the challenges that I will be faced with will be how to juggle a full time job, family and schooling. The reason for going back to school is not only to further my education for future work but also to be more proficient in assisting my children with their schoolwork. Technology has progressed to a point where I feel that I need do something to help me keep pace with the changing world.
I guess you can say her role in life is to be happy, live comfortably financially and do everything she can to make her family comfortable and happy. When it came to asking my boss Kevin, his response I found to be quite shocking. He said his expectations and strategies for managing a family were completely what he expected. He went to college, he has a great job, he comes home, still does some work and in that extra time, he will spend time with his kids and his wife. Between the two responses, I don’t really see a difference in their answers.
Carla Wright My Return to School English Composition 1 Denya Cuiffo October 14, 2013 When we attend college as adults, we have expectations of what college will be or will not be. I decided to go back to school for quite a few reasons. The main factors for my returning to school includes my family and stability also plays big role in my returning to school. My reasons for going back to school is to gain communication skills, become a good role model for my children, if I decide to have any, gain independence and seek profitable employment that would be profitable for me. My father has always been my support system in my return to school.
She keeps me very busy. Since my father’s health decreased it feels as if I am taking care of another child. Having all of these people to take care of is a real challenge but I am OK with my decision to do so. In a future I hope to be happier. I say this because after I obtain my degree in Health Care administration I will have accomplished of goal that I had set for myself.
I did not want this to hinder my dream of going to university and following the career path that I have wanted for so long. I was determined to find a solution that suited my life and everyone in it, even though the odds were heavily stacked against me, and it seemed home study was the best option for me. After much research I came across the Distance Learning Centre (DLC). The DLC was able to offer me the possibility of gaining the qualification I needed and I could achieve this all whilst being at home. I would be able to study at my own pace, have regular tutor support, the offer of a monthly payment plan and the most important
Being at ACLC has allowed me to take class I otherwise couldn’t take at a conventional high school such as English 1A, a course that covers on year of English, at a college level, in a year. I’m also able take beginner piano and all these courses are of no charge to me. Being able to take these courses is a major boost in my chances of getting into college and I am thankful for them though I was very close to walking away from these opportunities and this school. Yes, Alameda High and Encinal students can take classes at College of Alameda but that was only during the summer and they can’t go to Laney or Berkeley for more classes. At ACLC, I could take classes during the school year if my schedule and free periods allowed it.
