E5- Diversity means different, meaning that the society that we live in is different for example, coming from different cultures, different faiths, race or disability. In all mainstream schools teach children different religions and attitudes in a positive way. This is because all children are diversity. Inclusiveness is where you include everyone, encouraging the participation of all children and valuing the children as individuals. So for example inclusive practise is when all the children are taking part in an activity that doesn’t discriminate any child.
A child observes how parents treat each other and other people they come in contact with and will mimic these behaviors growing up. If they observe parents arguing all the time, treating each other with disrespect then they too will learn this behavior and treat other people with disrespect. An example of observational learning during child rearing is getting a child to clean his or her room. First, start by finding some educational cartoons of children cleaning their room. Allow
Finally, during the preschool years, many children become quite independent and social interacting with the world around them through games and play activities. This is the stage of moving from minute activities to preparing for a solid foundation in all areas of development preparing to interact out of the home. Being a teacher in a classroom, I understand the significant impacts that play enhance preschool children’s growth and development through empowerment, self- help skills, and pro social behavior. As a center, we provide opportunities for preschoolers to exercise their ability to function in a school community efficiently and independently. This includes interacting both inside and outside with their peer and their teachers.
It's the laboratory in which children figure out how the world works, who they are, who they might be, and what they can and cannot do. Every child will play, no matter what their circumstances or their health situation. “Play includes a range of activities, undertaken for their own interest, enjoyment or the satisfaction that results.” Lindon (2001:2). Children must feel motivated and that they have ownership and control over their play. Play must be open-ended with no required outcome, allowing the children to be able to explore in their own way to come to their own conclusion or achieve their own goals.

The outcomes of Every child matters are: Benefits of Multi agency working & integrated working An important aspect of multi agency working and integrated working is that children and young people who are at risk can be identified and the organizations involved can quickly ensure that the child is safe and protected. It brings together a range of services for the whole community where practitioners work together to deliver integrated support to children, young people and their families. 1.2: Analyse how integrated working practices & multi-agency working in partnership deliver better outcomes for children & young people.
Ninety percent of American preschool children’s playtime involves toys. So it is obvious that playtime and interacting with toys is the primary method of acquiring many basic skills. It starts with seemingly simple beginnings, activities such as “mouthing” items; banging a rattle, reaching for a colorful mobile, help a baby interact with the world around them. These interactions help your baby learn about language, social relations, and cause-and-effect. Once babies begin to understand how things in the environment relate to each other and how they taste, smell, feel, and sound, babies are ready for the next stage of development: figuring out how they work.
Equality and Diversity promotes that everyone has a human right be equal and have the opportunity to achieve their potential, free from prejudice and discrimination. Under the Equal Opportunities Act we have to ensure equality and diversity to all learners and staff. This means that the environment where the teaching is taking place promotes equality and diversity. Diversity is the acceptance or promotion of multiple ethnic cultures, applied to the demographic make-up of the local area. I do not discriminate against anyone because of their: age; gender; race, colour, ethnic, national, cultural or social origin; disability; religion and belief, or non-belief; marital status, family circumstances or caring responsibilities; sexual orientation and class.
Volunteering in the classroom is another way the parent can be involved with their children. A lot of the teacher are grateful for the help in the classroom and welcome the parents who can help out with things like reading to the students and special projects. Being present in your child classroom you allow your child to know how important their education is you and for them. With all the availability of early childhood education across the world, we do not need to question the reason why early childhood education is important. We can see that the benefits are greater than the
