According Burn and Brannen, 5 more women were murdered because of the wearside jack hoax. Police should have known that the First letter was a hoax because it was so similar to the Dear boss letter sent in the jack the ripper case. Wearside jack sent tape to George Oldfield on June 17th 1979 and this involved 60,000 interviews, 16,000 vehicle checks and 7,000 handwriting checks. Humble was arrested in 2005 because his saliva matched the saliva used to seal the ripper letters. The Dangers of Carrying a Gun In 1985, about 31,600 people were killed with guns, and perhaps another 130,000 people suffered nonfatal gunshot wounds. However, the majority of the deaths, 55%, were suicides, rather than criminal homicides. Only 37% were homicides, 5% were fatal gun accidents, and 1.5% each were due to legal intervention (police officers killing suspects in the line of duty) and to death where it was undetermined whether the injury was intentionally or accidentally inflicted. Moreover, among all deaths due to "external cause,"( i.e. accident, suicide or homicide) a gun was involved in 22% of them, handguns in about 13% of them.
Now we have one remaining bullet that has to account for the remaining seven wounds in Kennedy and Connally. Rather than investigating further, or admitting to anything, the Warren Commission decided to close the case. One of the biggest lies forced on the American people ever before. The single bullet to account for seven wounds is known as the Magic Bullet Theory. A 6.5 millimeter rifle bullet shot from the sixth floor of the Depository passed through President Kennedy’s neck and Governor Connally’s chest and wrist and then submerged itself in the Governor’s thigh.
