In my home town although we do not have a Youth sports programs. The town does have an established tennis club and football club. The Youth Sports programme throughout Hertfordshire has become a very important part of today’s society. Youth sports, provides our youth with positive development both physically and mentally. Sports programs should also be fun and challenging. A positive approach should be used to help develop football skills and tennis skills teach kids lessons in that help them to be team player in their school and also when they start work. Every youth that participates should feel they are in integral part of their team. Furthermore education is very important in today’s complex and technical society. Before we devote so much time to youth sports, we must make sure the kids are being educated in the classroom. Education should come before any sporting activity. Youth Sports Programme strive to give each and every child a chance to try out new sports and give them a sporting start through school PE lessons and after school clubs. Sometimes it is those with a disability and special needs that do well in sport. Some Children prefer spending their evenings playing computer games but this is where the Youth Sports Programme may assist. As a child my own experience of Summer Clubs was good it gave me the chance to try out new sports which was not offered at my school. The Youth Sports programme is open to all and there is no discrimination so why not mention to your child the importance of keeping fit and taking up a new sport that may interest them. In Hertfordshire there is the Youth Sports Games that will give your child the opportunity to try out a sport they have never done before this includes athletics , badminton and fencing to name a few.
