She plans to purchase some this weekend to assist her with more accurate graphs. She really hates that she had to leave class early, she wanted to see everyone’s presentation. La Quandria enjoys her teammates as group member. She believes the team need to get our momentum back up. She believes everyone probably needs a break in between classes because there is no time to regroup in between class.
She would try to help someone with there work even if she doesn't know how to do it. She will try to figure it out. Most of all she will go out of the way to learn something new to help someone as we'll as find a easier way to explain the subject they need help on. Jasmine is sweet , nice because no matter how bad her day is she will still smile and no show that she is having a bad day. She is a nice person to everyone and could never just
Jamison Mullen Ms.Cramer Final reflective essay 5/24/12 It’s been a long hard year for all the students that took English 10. It’s good that people take English because it affects the way we talk, live, and function in day to day life. I can say personally English helped my writing tremendously. I could hardly write essays due to my bad grammar and the inability to punctuate my words and sentences I’ve come a long way. It was worth every question and worksheet to where I am now.
She feels absolutely no sense of belonging, and struggles to find friends. Throughout the movie however, she makes friends with the ‘popular girls.’ Once Cady’s social status begins rising, so does her confidence. Soon, Cady feels a sense of belonging, and feels like she owns the school. This unusual situation relates back to how our belonging strengthens our identity. As soon as Cady started belonging, she felt better about herself, and her whole attitude changed.
Final exams are a time of stress for students to worry about if they can recall all the lessons that their professors have went over within that semester. Students who are scarcely passing any of their classes need their final exams to be passing grades, so they tend to study a little harder. Finals also allow students to see how all the lessons they have learned connect through small facts. Identifying and understanding thoroughly everything the professor particularly emphasizes in class can be a hard and tough experience when preparing to study for finals. In Joy Alonso’s “Two Cheers for Examination “she uses examinations to examine the purposes and useless of exams in two and four year colleges to appear to students and teachers.
Having a plan of action shows the board members that every aspect has been considered. Once Sally Martin was hired as executive project manager, she evaluated the progress that had been made and realized that because the initial analysis had been rushed, several key components to the success of the project had been missed. She did a wonderful job in creating a way to fix the problems but her superior was not pleased with her findings and considered it bad news. Lack of candor is present here because as a result of the negative feedback from her boss, Ms. Martin decided to never relay bad news again no matter what. Good communication would be the key to overcoming this situation.
(Alvarez 1997) is a very good book, in fact I read it in one day. Which was great, but then at the end it made you want more. In the beginning of the book, it seems all of Yolanda’s sisters feel betrayed and hurt that Yolanda would write a book about their lives. Even though it is labeled a fictional book, the book seems to be based off their lives. The first chapter was told by FiFi, the youngest sister.
Vanessa Perez March 3, 2015 ENC-1102 Professor Valenzuela “No Child” Journal Response I really liked this story very much. I was modern and more interesting than the other stories and poems we have read in the class. Starting with the tittle “No Child”, I had a feeling it was going to be about that act “No child left behind”. I was correct, this story shows this amazing teacher wanting to teach and act this play to young teenagers that have been abused and been in many problems. Ms. Sun had faith and hope that these students could achieve in something.
There aren’t many people who are as strong as her to push their selves to overcome their struggles. Not only did she learn a lesson, but so did all her loved ones. They became more united as a family. Anything is possible when you give it your all and don’t give your hopes up. Also, the positive things she’s done going out her way after her recovery, talking to others about her experience and how she was able to get on her feet is an awesome thing she did.
This quote illustrates that she can't take that moment out of her brain. It is practically glued to her memory until she starts to speak and open up to everyone. After she tried to reach for help and failed, she alienated herself from her peers, and her family. She kind of opens up in art class with Mr. Freeman though because he inspired her to do fantastic things. He always knew
