When I changed to my new school, everything was new for me: new environment and new friends. I am a friendly guy so I could easily adapt in my new school. On my first day of school, I saw him sitting alone at the corner of the class doing lessons. I chose to sit beside him and made friend with him. He looked smart and seemed to be a top student in the class. He has brown hair, blue eyes and white complexion. His name is Derek and we became close friends. He came from a great and rich family. Although he came from a wealthy family, he never boasted of his wealth and stayed like an ordinary boy. As I had thought, he was the top student not even in the class but also in the whole school. He was the pride of the school and every teacher praised him. He was also a professional in playing football and was the captain of the school football team and he was the heart throb for all the girls. One day, fire broke out in school lab and everyone was evacuated out of the building at once. It was very crowded and we were split up in the crowd. I couldn’t find him outside the building and was worried for him. After a while, I saw him running out from a classroom with a junior student. That student was fainted and Derek saved his life. He broke his left hand and hurt his face. Everyone praised Derek as a hero and I was really surprised by his action. He was a kind-hearted and brave boy. He was rewarded by the principle for risking his life and saving the boy. He became more popular and owned good reputation at school. When we reached to our final year at school, Derek suddenly changed his behavior. He wasn’t friendly to me anymore and his results were falling and he looked not normal.
