Is School Stressing kids out?
I think that a teenager’s level of stress is pretty high. I say that because I’m in middle school and we have more responsibility then elementary students. We have to stay on top of our work and we get more work than elementary students. Also I think that middle school students are under a lot of pressure. I say that because we have more events in middle school and if your work is not done you will not be able to attend the events that they have planned for us. I think that all of the stress and pressure is coming from the teachers and parents. I say that because parents want their kids to do good and kids try so hard to make their parents proud and end up stressing out because of it. Also teachers give too much home work, teachers give kids stacks of homework and when kids get home they are not able to do all the work that their teachers give. So when they check there grad they will have a low grad and fell that class. I think that teachers and schools can change the way they do things by, not giving so much homework, trying to help out the kids that need help. They can have a class for kids who have stress and other issues. I also think that parents can help out to. I think that because parents can help their children, they can stay on top of them, and they also can be appreciative and encouraging them to do better. In conclusion I think that a parent and teacher should stop putting so much pressure on the kids and start encouraging them to strive for success and do good not tell them that they are doing wrong and yelling at them because that’s not going to help at all. It’s just going to make them mess up and not even care if they get the answer right or wrong they are just going to get the work down and rush through it, but they should be taking their time and trying to get the work correct.
