4. Next right click in the right-hand panel and click New User.
4.) New User dialog box will appear showing User name, Full name, Description, Password, Confirm password and Password options. Now I would enter the sales person’s information.
User name: CLGeeX
Full name: Charles L. Gee
Description: Sales Manager
Password: Next, I would enter the password of CL in uppercase.
Confirm password: I would Re-enter the CL password.
Password options: Next I would click the enable the Password must change password on next
Click on create user.
Sales Reps: Frank J Biggs, Herold W Jones, Paul L Ray, Juan O Hermes would be entered in the same fashion as the sales manager.
If Jill K Knight the administrative assistant would get administrative rights, then once her account has been created I would right-click on your account, select the Properties option, select Members Of and click Add, then type in the description as administrator and Jill will be listed as administrator in the Member’s Of window.
Permissions settings for the new user can be accomplished by right clicking on the folder you want to configure and then clicking on the properties option. Next we have to click on the security tab and then select advanced. Here we can select users or groups permissions for accounts, sales, etc each individual folder that you want them to access or be denied access to.
