All individuals have the right to communicate through their chosen method and their choice should be acknowledged and respected when supporting them. Communication is a basic human right, without communication an individual is unable to realise or exercise their rights. 1.2 Ways in which my own role and practice can impact on communication with an individual who has specific communication needs would be to speak directly to the individual and not from across a room. By speaking to the individual face to face, communication can be absorbed better. It is also important that I speak slowly and clearly, using terminology that is at a level the individual can understand.
These quotations are very relevant to me, especially because I am a very expressive or kind of a talkative person. These reminded me that even how good or fancy I talk or say something, without backing it up with a clear action it is pointless. That is why it is better to just do more and talk less like the old saying tell us ‘Walk the talk’. Or the more I talk about something the more I should put a better effort in doing it. You would only prove a point if you back you words with definite and clear actions.
I make sure that I am clear on instructions, times, dates or location and if appropriate I like to have it written down. I aim to make positive and lively conversation to promote the interest in conversation. It is important to be confident as if you are nervous you can sometimes create barriers making communication difficult. Eye contact shows that you are listening and are interested in what the person has to say. I try to be polite and friendly in order to create trust, people feel that you are approachable and tend to communicate better when they trust you.
So, oppressed people can not win the respect of oppressor. He believes in this way the oppressed become as evil as the oppressor because acquiescence is the easier way to encounter oppression, also it is not the moral way. In Dr. King’s opinion, the second way is resorting to physical violence and corroding hatred. He believes violence not only brings impermanent results, but also is impractical and immoral. According to King, it is impractical because it slows the process of ending the oppression for all, and it is immoral because it seeks humiliate the opponent rather than win his understanding.
What we say, how we say it and what we do, conveys many things to those we dealing with, both consciously and subconsciously. People communicate with us because they have something they want us to know or something they want us to provide for them, either information or something physical to meet their needs. We communicate to share information and ideas. It is important to remember that that everyone is different and that we think and communicate in different ways and that the people we support will generally communicate because they are motivated by what they need. These needs are not always physical needs, such as food or wanting to go to the toilet, but also less tangible needs such as the need to be respected.

Pride can push you to accomplish things and whatnot but in reality, pride can be disgusting causing you to look stubborn or rather over-confident. It really depends on how a person uses it.
The sin, which is exposed and confessed, frees the sinner from torturing inside under his conscience, but the sin, which is concealed and hidden, tends to deteriorate the sinner's bodily condition and cause death. Dimmesdale’s sin causes them to worry continually about their sins being discovered. This constant anxiety leads to the deterioration of both spiritual and physical health. For these reasons altogether, it is safe to say that concealed sin takes a greater toll on Arthur
In Andrea A. Lunsford and John J. Ruszkiewicz’s book, Everything's an Argument, a strong case is made that even getting dressed is a rhetorical act. Conversely, propaganda exists on a far more particular platform. The conditions with which propaganda operates are more hostile, aggressive, blatant and in-your-face than that of rhetoric. Typically, propaganda flourishes in societies where despair and desperation are present. These hopeless societies are easily indoctrinated by the persuasive tools of propaganda as their fears, anxiety and anger cloud their ability to use logic and reason.
We often paint events much worse, than they actually are by our distorted thinking, this greatly increases stress. How we perceive/appraise an event (stressor) plays a very large role in whether the stressor triggers our fight/flight response. Some stressors are universally painful and stressful to most of us such as the death of a loved one. Fortunately, these major life event stressors are relatively rare; most of the stressors I encounter occur on a daily basis and are known as daily hassles like loss
