Everyone had light out at about 11 pm because we had to get up early the next morning for the big graduation. We were all up at around 8 am for a family Marine Corps breakfast that was very delicious. So as all of us packed and gathered our things up and put them in the car because after the graduation we were all heading back to the airport to head back home. The graduation ceremony started at 10 am. The drill instructors checked everyone in and seated all of us.
This was the first party that Nick attended at Gatsby’s house but he could immediately tell that Gatsby was a perfect gentleman. At Daisy’s party, Gatsby is almost sure that Daisy’s love for Tom will be transferred over to Gatsby himself. Gatsby, thinking that it is only going to be him and Daisy at the party, is shocked to see his friend Nick, Daisy’s husband Tom, and Jordan Baker. The day turns out to be intolerably hot, making all the guests at the luncheon even more uncomfortable then expected. Tom receives a phone call from his mistress and leaves the room to have a word with her.
There are several different individuals who dine here such as actors, actresses, media, business men and women, large families, and couples. They literally cater to all types of individuals making everyone comfortable and not one more then the next. I would love to work at this restaurant because they work as a family and team. The work ethics each employee puts into their job exudes as they walk around very confident about this establishment and job performed. There are several different positions in this hospitality industry that if accomplished successfully by each worker helps the customer enjoy their dining experience.

*insert date here* marked the history of Sheares Hall as on this day we had the privilege to indulge our ears in our first-ever combined concert by our very own Sheares Band, Shacca and Ge Yao. Yes, it was the Sheares Unplugged. The aim of Unplugged was to be a platform for our talented Shearites to showcase their talents and boy, what an amazing talent they showed. While everyone else was sitting in the comfort of the plastic chair and eating their dinner with lychee syrup drink, a few Shearites were up on a small stage, setting up the musical instruments and getting ready to impress Shearites with their performances. It was actually like any other Thursday evening in Sheares Hall, until they started their performances.
I was thinking in my head high spirits and big smile wins a judge over every time, I know my material and only I can present it how it should be, I’ve got this and I will place high. Well I waited and sure enough five minutes was over. I walked in said a friendly Good Morning to all three of my female judges and then set up my board on the easel and I was off to start from there. I shook everyone’s hands said hello and introduced I as the Manger of Hollister Co. and handed out my business cards. They were all fantasized with how good my project board looked, how artistic I made everything and how visual it was the only problem that came to me was the question “What is Hollister Co.?” These judges were kind of old ladies they would probably have no idea or never shopped or seen this store at the mall before, but since I am an avid customer that shops there I had no problems explaining to them what the store was and what it was like.
Luis Cardenas Having deep family roots and many friends, Luis Cardenas comes from the largest city in the state baring his B.A. and a teaching credential. About nine years ago when he was a sophomore in high school Luis automatically knew teaching was his dream job after his wonderful experience teaching crafts to 10-year-old boys. Having the sensation of being a slave as a paralegal in a large law firm for half a year, and another half a year as a junior executive has only made him realize his desire to become a teacher. Luis’ student-teaching experience came as a realization to him not only in a positive way but in a negative way as well.
After returning to Miami, my next 24 hours would be spent saying goodbye to all of my loved ones. My house is always used for entertaining guests so it is a no brainer that I would then proceed to have a party. The party would begin in the late afternoon around 5pm to celebrate my life and all of the pleasurable moments I have shared with those that have a special place in my heart. I would have a disco ball, strobe lights, balloons of all colors of the rainbow, a buffet of Haitian and Chinese food since they are my favorite, a dj, and a 3 tiered cake in order to thank everyone for being in my life whether it was all of it or just a short amount of time. The party would have no time limit, and would end only when the last person left my
As we ate our meal the waitress made many trips to give refills. The only problem with the service was the fact of another person bringing over our meal which is definitely understandable since the restaurant was considerably busy. Dining at Cracker Barrel was an enjoyable experience for me. With the abundance of fresh southern meals, and its unique and amazing environment, it simply helps you to relax while forgetting your troubles. During my visit to the Cracker Barrel I experience a historical atmosphere, the food was exceptional, the best of service, and although normally very busy, especially at prime season, it does not take long to get a table.
Was also a literature graduate student who met Randy at a lecture. | Plot On September 18, 2007, computer science professor Randy Pausch stepped in front of an audience of 400 people at Carnegie Mellon University to give a last lecture called “Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams.” Randy told his audience about the cancer that is devouring his pancreas and that will claim his life in a matter of months. On the stage that day, Randy was youthful, energetic, handsome, often cheerfully, darkly funny. He seemed invincible. Randy’s lecture has become a phenomenon, as has the book he wrote based on the same principles, celebrating the dreams we all strive to make realities.
