Jasmine Harris “The Adventure to Wild Adventures” My family is fond of amusement parks because we love roller coasters, water slides, and amusement park food. We decided to go to Wild Adventures in Valdosta, GA; it was about 3 hours from where we lived. My parents decided to leave the house at 4:00 a.m. so we could get there by 7:30 a.m. Leaving early would give us time to check into our hotel room, get dressed, and be ready to leave as soon as possible. My dad wanted to rest as well since he had been driving all morning. Our family got to the park around 11:00 a.m. When we were looking for someplace to park, I was glad that trip had gone pretty easily so far. Just in case someone got lost, we all wore the same color so it would be easy to find each other. When we walked through the gates, I thought to myself, "time to have fun." When we entered inside the park, we thought about what we should do first. I suggested that we get on the mini rollercoaster, because my mom wasn't too fond of big roller coasters. The ride probably lasted about 5 to 6 minutes. It was a fun start off ride to get you ready for the big stuff I guess. The park had an outdoor wildlife zone. In order to see it, there was a small train that drove you through the area that the animals were located. This was something I really wanted to see. They had baboons, elephants, gorillas, kangaroos, lions, tigers, zebras, and many more. Some of the animals smelled badly, but it didn't take away the fun of seeing them. One of the funniest moments while I was there was when I got on a water side that was made like a log. You sit inside a big log shaped raft, travel down a tunnel, and shoot into a pool of water. I convinced my mom to ride with me. She is excitable and therefore was hesitant; she wasn't big fan of water rides. As the ride flew through the tunnel, my mom screamed, grabbed
