Why women should breastfeed their babies! Mothers benefit from breastfeeding however; in the beginning it’s a little rough. Breastfeeding make life easier once you have a routine. What is really great about breastfeeding, you don’t have to serialize nipples or bottles. No measuring and mixing formula, you also don’t have to buy formula. There are no bottles to warm in the middle of the night. Whenever your baby is hungry he/she doesn’t have to wait, for you to make the bottle. Mothers are always busy, just because you have a new baby, that doesn’t mean you have to stay in the house. Breast feeding moms can get around easier. They don’t have to carry bottles or formula. No worrying about warming the milk when outside, or refrigerating milk. Women who breastfeed always have food, they don’t have to worrying about running out of formula. Being that formula for one baby can cost up to 1,500 dollars. Delayed menstrual cycle however, usually occurs while breastfeeding. How often menstruation returns, depends on the consistency of your breast feeding patterns. If you are menstruating, it begins when you baby is sleeping such as: through the night, receives a bottle, or using a pacifier. Some women receive their periods as early as six week after birth, while some may not menstruate again until breast feeding has officially stopped. Women who don’t have periods can save them, money and lower blood loss. Which in some women they are anemic, that will help them from losing blood. Since women are very fertile, it is advised to receive some type of birth control method. Women who breastfeed also get back in shape faster than women bottle feed. The milk process uses 200 to 500 calories per a day. Considering we are on a 2,000 calories per a day system. The hormones oxytocin causes the uterus to contract back to pre-pregnancy size.
