It had long legs and it a wide skull with lots of power in its bite. Albertosaurus is considered by many scientists to be the best known of the tyrannosaurs. A number of nearly complete skeletons, two adults and a juvenile, have been found. There are two recognized species and several in dispute. It is sometimes referenced as a transitory animal, a creature on its way to evolving into T. rex, but it appears that it was extremely successful and longer lived than the Tyrannosaurus
Book Report My book ‘Endangered’ by Eliot Schrefer, was about a young girl named Sophie who had to fight to stay alive, taking care of not just herself, but a baby bonobo she named Otto. My book interested me in many ways. One way it interested me was because it showed the bond humans can have with an animal, so therefor we should stop people from killing animals. My quote I used is “The saddest aspect of life right now is that science gathers knowledge faster than society gathers wisdom”. I chose this quote because it tells us that killing animals happens faster than someone gathering knowledge.
The M16 machine gun was introduced as well and proved to be useful in its firepower of almost 1,000 rounds per minute, durability through harsh weather conditions and a light weight frame. The introduction of mines aided in sealing perimeters from enemies for night encampments while walkie-talkies enabled troops to maintain conversation-like contact while standing many yards away from one another. However, the invention of nuclear missiles changed the worlds approach to war forever. At this day in age, the advancements made in military technology are far beyond the minds of any regular person. The US military now has in its possession, nuclear missiles able to explode countries to bits and pieces.
This “real” T. rex “was not the great predator who marauded through primordial landscapes but rather a slow, putzy scavenger that poked around the Cretaceous countryside in search of maggoty carrion” (Hitt, 109). And we’re not just taking this person’s word for it either, he has plenty of substantial evidence to back this theory up such as the physical aspects that this dinosaur has. So it should be rather easy for us to switch our way of thinking given the sound evidence that is given to us. But we don’t. We want to hold onto our previous depiction of the T. rex; fearless, powerful, terrifying.
Distribution North and South America and other Northern continents. Extant Extinct Name of Organism 2. Giant ground sloths Description a large, hornless rhinoceros. It was one of the largest land mammals. Adults were about 26 feet (8 m) long, 18 feet (5.5 m) tall, and weighed about 17 - 18 tons (16 tonnes).
The Tyrannosaurus Rex also known as T-Rex, lived during the late cretaceous period which is about 70 million years ago. T-Rex lived along river valleys in North America. This dinosaur was 40 feet long and 20 feet tall. The T-Rex was a carnivore dinosaur which meant it ate nothing but meat. It will eat so many pounds of meat because it had powerful jaw muscles.
The third reason for choosing this book is its many twists and turns. As a result, once I started I did not put down the book until the end as I kept anticipating the next event. For example, when the angry she-bear was about to claw Arliss and I thought that would be the end of him, Old Yeller suddenly leaped out of a nearby bush and saved the boy. However, when Travis commanded Old Yeller to chase two fighting bulls away and I thought he would obey, he just ran off instead. The atmosphere in the story is both tense and exciting and the plot is well-paced.
Technology has advanced so much to display these intricate works of art, each one taking great time, effort, and knowledge to produce. A man throwing a football, a woman doing acrobatics, the stages a fetal development (some still in the womb), all displayed to the extent that, if they were alive, they would feel a higher order of the term “naked”. He walks through the exhibit, pondering the great mysteries of the human machine, wondering how even the world’s greatest minds couldn’t even conceive something of the same caliber. He starts imagining what kind of engineers would be required to keep these autonomous machines in order. Orthodontists, nephrologists, immunologists, pharmacologists, all the “-ologists” he can think of.
There are bone crushing tackles, spectacular catches, precise throws, running backs breaking tackles for long gains, and the strength and athletic ability of all positions (except kickers and punters, of course) to make plays for their team. Shock value in football is not comparable to other major sports. Baseball and golf tend to become redundant as opposed to football where there's more astonishment, like injuries, interceptions, fumbles, flags that eradicate big plays, and blocked punts and kicks. What's making the NFL grow even higher in ratings is the rise
Some people label a pit-bull to be the most dangerous and violent dog there is to be, but others think pit-bulls are one of the best guard dogs there is. As you know people fight pit-bulls illegally all the time, but what some may not know if you get caught it’s a felon. Pit-bulls value is breathe taking, this dog can run up to as much as $5000. There is different kind of bloodlines, as an example you have the bloodline gotti, red nose, blue nose, and etc. They may be one of the most vicious dogs, but they are worth having in your company when being attacked.
