You may be wondering if a 16 year old who still has not experienced the challenges and victories of life as an adult can answer a simple but yet intriguing question “why do you want to become a doctor?” There are many characteristics that set me apart from an average sixteen year old, and it’s the capability and complete understanding of what I want to be. I want to be that person that is able to save the lives of others through science, the person who’s medical knowledge can provide health to those who lack of it, I want to be a doctor that is a nurturer but also a great contributor to its society. I have the dedication and passion to succeed and become the most outstanding and efficient doctor I can be. I’ve asked myself that question many times throughout my life, and I finally have the answer. I want to be the doctor who is able to help no matter the situation, I want to dedicate my life to gain the proper knowledge to aid humankind, I want to be passionate about the welfare of others and my own, and to be able to help the ones that need my help to recover from a disease or to prevent one. I want to be the doctor people trust when it comes to their health. I want to be an advocate of health science and what better way than to become a doctor. I have the requirement to achieve these goals which is dedication. Success and dedication come hand in hand, you may have the intelligence to prosper, but you need the dedication to surmount at what you’re successful. I have the devotion to put the medical knowledge I will learn at UNIBE to use and save the lives of others.
