Some schools’ mission statement is the modern equivalent to a motto. “Although our pupils achieve well, we are interested in more than just results. We aim to provide an inspiring, stimulating and enjoyable education for all our pupils, introducing them to a wealth of exciting experiences across the whole curriculum.” How is this reflected? : The pupils’ achievements not only academic but also sporting, artistic, performing and behaviour, both in and out of school are recognised. There is a positive culture of learning and development that is celebrated by merits, certificates, displays and praise from teaching staff.
I know that the superior academic instruction I could receive at Calvin College would be just what I am looking for to achieve a meaningful understanding of the cultural and spiritual context in which we live so I can make known the infinite love, mercy, and grace of Christ. I hope as a student, I can be one who challenges my peers to work toward their full potential, and I hope that they can challenge me to do the same by always encouraging me to practice a life of service, and continue to help make my faith my own. To me, the academic and spiritual opportunities that Calvin College offers are equally important to me. As believers, whatever we do should be done for the Lord. I hope that as a student at Calvin I would be able to encourage others because others have encouraged and strengthened me in this aspect.

To me Swag means to influence the best students to be the best of the best so that is what I think Swag means to me and why I think I should be in it. The reasons why I think I should be in swag. One reason why I think that I should be in swag is because I have a good attitude and not afraid to try new things. One example of why I have a good attitude is me doing all my work when I am my classes, and because I do things that will put me in the right path to life. Aristotle argues that material is what an object consist of and this matter we could not live without. He feels that education is the key and having the experience is good for happiness. Aristotle states that it is important to consider our ethical first principle not merely as a conclusion drawn from certain premises, but also in its relation to the popular opinion (Aristotle, 701). He says how it is important to follow what we believe and because
Apart from the many other common reasons for becoming a teacher (“I feel a calling to teaching”; “it’s a chance to positively impact the community” and “children need good/better role models”), ultimately, I believe that teaching is one of the most rewarding professions, and that it will lead to a brighter future for myself, and my family. I’m certain people would perceive pedagogy as a career that would continually put someone through a tremendous amount of stress, and although this could be true, it is why people should be praised for deciding to pursue this profession. Teachers are responsible for shaping children, building their character, and helping them work towards their aspirations. In essence, teachers are the people who create the future. There is a current urgency for new teachers, and with these fresh and youthful minds being prepared to enter into the field we can expect a big change in the methods and techniques as well as new ideas being brought into the world of
