Why do people migrate? Many people move to the United States in search of a better life not only for them also for their families. Migration processes are inherent to the human species and many other species. Born of self-preservation of the species rather than the individual, and should always make a comparative assessment of the environment where one lives in terms of resources and possibilities that are available, and a different environment, in which there is a perception that these resources and capabilities can be bigger and better. Probably one of the most common is economic migration, as many people immigrate to another country looking for more income and better living standards. At present this type of migration typically occurs from less developed to more developed countries and in many cases, these immigrants enter or remain illegally in the country. We may want to emigrate for political persecution, ethnic or religious or to escape war or unstable political situations. In some cases immigration is associated with professions or jobs, such as religious missionaries, employees of multinational corporations or Foreign Service employees. In the case of scientists, is, in some cases, expected or even required, as part of his career studying or working in countries other than the country of origin. Another important reason is the famous “American Dream”. As immigrants we all want to achieve to get a better education, have a career and get a better economic position. There are several causes for immigration, ranging from global to personal reasons. Causes of migration 1.
