I quickly began to attend college classes through my employer to make gains in my career and try to possibly secure my future. I had no idea until this point the many advantages that college was going to provide for me if I allowed it to. Continuing on in the job I had accepted it opened opportunities to study courses to get me promoted and increase my wages which bettered my lifestyle for me and my family and made things easier. I had finally found a job that I was happy in and chances to increase my thirst for knowledge as I could continue my education as long as I wanted. I finally had self- confidence and the drive to make the most of my career as I neared completion of Banker’s College.
“Why college education is important to me” College is my key to making something of my life. Finding better opportunities through having an education that I never thought I would be cut out for after my high school experience. The college experience opens all types of doors in your mind and in the world. Success and happiness is the key to life. If one pursues their dreams and ambitions, he or she can be open to many more of the opportunities this world has to offer.
Without the goal of going to college I would not be here today. Also, I would not be teaching my children not to give up on their dreams. By believing that the long-term results and the value of completing my degree in higher education to be that if it is a dream or a goal of yours that you are never too old to achieve them. Also, if you are returning to school later in life you are setting an example for your children so they can see that you never give up on your goals and dreams. My personal plan for my academic future is to push myself to do better in school and achieve the goal that I set for myself of a 4.0 GPA.
In the world we live in today. Going to college is no longer a choice, or privilege, but rather a need for a brighter future . So the big question that happens to be going around is, “Is College really worth it?”According to Andrew J. Rotherham’s article “Actually, college is very much worth it.”, “5 Ways Ed Pays”produced by (The College board), and “Why College Isn't (And Shouldn’t have to be) For Everyone” written by Robert Reich. The answer to that question is yes. Though there are many individuals who believe that college is not for everyone, attending college and getting a higher education can open the gates to many tremendous life changing opportunities such as becoming healthier, begin able to secure jobs, and earning more financially.
I think a good education is imperative because it will influence my life in the future. It will help me get a well paying job, In a business, you are usually dealing with bills, tuition, and purchases, so a great deal of math is involved as well as organization and people skills. A great education will also help me get into a business college, so I can pursue my dream of being a business man, or a I have now, and the t least get into a college I am satisfied with. These are some plans I have for the future, and a decent education is key to make these plans a reality. I also think an excellent education is crucial because it will affect my family in one way or another.
Most people at one time or another in their life would mostly agree that they would want a degree whether it be earned at any age or honary. There is just something about having a degree that that makes you feel very special about yourself. Another accomplishment that most people would agree upon would be a successful career. Whether it be a waitress or a CEO of a corporation the main thing to remember is that if your happy with what your doing, then that’s all that matters. And the third thing that people would agree upon would be family.
It helps us to be educated, to accumulate knowledge and also to accomplish our goals. Through study we learn a lot of things like how we have to act, think, everything around us. I am not saying that we cannot live without it but if we study and if we take our education seriously that can make a huge difference in our future life. I learn this lesson in a hard way with a low grade that is going to be in my student record until I died, but this is not going to pass me again. I study very hard every day to make my family proud of me and to be respected by all.
College education acts as the key to a successful future to individuals who are serious with it. It provides a financial security and helps a person build a remarkable reputation. Personally, it has helped me to have a competitive edge in the workforce. Through the various skills I have acquired in college, I can work in various companies across the globe. Currently, college education has become the minimum requirement in securing a job in various companies.
So now people are looking for better ways to make money instead of manual labor. Today in our society it is important to get a college education and being able work at a job that you enjoy doing. Most jobs today require a bachelor’s degree; college can give you the knowledge that you can use in a specific field or work.
