Why an education is important in this day and time These days, education is viewed as an important achievement in existence, and knowledge has turned into every individual these days, education is viewed as an important achievement in existence, and knowledge has turned into every individual's concern. Each one of us is born with a distinct medium and of distinct social and cultural norm. I remember being told as a boy by my parents that "education was an important part of life and that you needed to keep your grades up". After high school I thought I would never need to further my education and that it was irrelevant. After I lost my job at the Texas Department of Criminal Justice as a Lieutenant of Correctional Officers, at that time I realized that I would not be able to find a better paying job without an education. Education to me is important because it remains a crucial portion of existence in all the instances, but it has turn into being extremely essential in the contemporary age. Each person has to run this modern day life and with no education it would seem impossible. It was once said by Aristotle “The roots of education are bitter, but the fruit is sweet". This statement plays a beautiful part in human pondering and to make an appropriate choice in life. The first thing that is striking about education is that it is an expertise gain. Education provides us the knowledge of the globe close to us. It develops in us a viewpoint of seeking existence, it also helps us to construct opinions and have points of view on everything in life.
