As far as I can remember as a child I would always get a sensation of remorse whenever I was doing wrong, and that was before any explanation of doing wrong was. I believe that certain feeling is your soul, consciousness telling you that you are committing a sin. Life pointless or is there a purpose? Life is a journey full of obstacles and barriers; I also believe it’s a hallway with different choices of doors to creating your path, which the Lord has planned for you. As a Christian our lives are to serve and obey God’s Laws his commandments and the purpose is to get into heaven.
It guides them to make the correct ethical decisions in life fulfilling their role as Christians. Ethics is the decision between right and wrong influenced heavily by beliefs and responsibilities of an adherent. Through the Bible, teachings by Jesus through parables such as the ‘Good Samaritan’ educate them on the way they should behave in everyday situations. In this parable, a man is neglected by a priest and a Levite but is helped by a Samaritan, a person who was disliked in that time. It shows Christians that they should help everyone who is in need, leaving no one behind.
We see Him working through others in their ministry whether it be like the Billy Graham ministry, the different teachers through Liberty University Online teaching about the Bible. Another example of Gods involvement with mankind is the Holy Spirit. When Jesus left earth and ascended to Heaven, He sent the Holy Spirit to strengthen us and work in our lives to help to go out and bring others to Him. That is what I want to do. I want to show and tell others what He has done for me and what He can do for them.
One can never be free from sin. The only thing God request from his believers is “Faith” because we have fallen short of his glory. How is one transformed in Christianity? Transformation in Christianity begins through accepting Christ as your savior. Then be baptized.
Beginning in chapter 12 Paul discussed how Christians are to live. In Romans 12:1 Paul urges the Christians: “in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God.” Paul continuously reminds the people to live above reproach and renew their minds so that they do not become part of the world. In the entire book of Romans Paul discusses the topic of how we as Christians should live, but Moo makes a great point in our book of how chapter 12 is a more in depth teaching on this matter. Moo states that "All theology is practical, and all practice, if it is truly Christian, is theological. Paul's gospel is deeply theological, but it is also eminently practical.
As the children of God f Christian) got born again and accepted Jesus as their Lord and personal savior, the word of God expected us to act, behave and think like our Heavenly father. If we cast our gaze back in the New Testament, it records that the Christian was named after the word Christ which means c^hristian. The point am trying to draw out here is; the people in Antioch were able to diagnose Christian by the way they behave, and think like Jesus that is why they were named Christians. ^Fhe Christian belief system, which the Christian known to be grounded in divine revelation, is relevant to all of life". This relevance results from the fact that Christianity is the one
When learning about how to think about, treat and speak to others on a daily basis and one has a biblical worldview, it would be crucial to read deeply into the Bible, as that is the source of determining morality, right and wrong for Christians. Especially within the Gospels of the New Testament, there are many verses from the Paul to the various churches and their members about being “kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you” (Ephesians 4:32). There are even direct quotations from Christ himself to the disciples and followers on how Christians are to treat even their enemies with respect and hospitality like in Luke 6:27-28, Jesus says “Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those that curse you, pray for those who mistreat
It’s a scene of what awaits them after death, and according to the decisions in their life, Christians will go to either heaven or hell. In Christian faith, those who lived according to god’s law were going to be saved. And those who sinned without reconciliation were damned. This also acts as a moralizing purpose because it made people live simpler lives. Salvation is a completely free gift from the Lord and comes by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
Romans 12:1-2, joins all of life with the worship of God. “Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.” So verse one says that presenting your bodies to God as a living and holy sacrifice is worship. In biblical times, a sacrifice was usually involving something dying. So Paul says "living" to make sure we know he doesn't mean literal human sacrifice.
