The main standards of my job role are to provide a high level of professional care to all residents giving them the upmost dignity and respect and also giving families and friend’s emotional support. Standards involving personal care and communication in my role are very important because it sets an example to other staff and new staff and can help them to understand how their role as a career should be executed. 3. There are a number of ways to ensure that personal attitudes or beliefs do not obstruct the quality of my work; it is important to leave any problems in your personal life at the door, so you are starting your shift with a clear, fresh mind set. It is important to remain completely professional at all times because you are performing a duty of care.
So the question became do I keep my passion, and will it always pay the bills? Alternatively, do I change career paths and pursue a new career that I know will pay the bills and will always provide for my family? My Journey I knew that I would be a good nurse. I was loving, kind, thoughtful, a good communicator, liked helping people, I was caring, and I also liked math and science. The Journal of Nursing Education states, “researchers found the concepts of caring and nurturance were identified as high motivators for choosing nursing” (Williams, Wertenberger, Hames, Gushuliak, 1997).
Even though education is a primary key to improve the quality of life of an Alzheimer’s patient, I strongly believe a little fun could go a long way. A day for the caregiver and patient to unload their worries and struggles would not only relieve stress; but get them to appreciate another day of life for their loved one with the disease. I believe even though there isn’t a cure yet for this disease love, care, and hope will motivate the patient to keep fighting and embrace all aspects of their lives. Organization: Because this is a big project I would combine my ideas with the Alzheimer’s Association. The Alzheimer’s Association is a program that provides education to patients, caregivers, professionals, and community members who are affected by Alzheimer’s disease.
Year round school runs on a system where students go to school for a month and then get a week off and repeat. The common myth about year round schooling is that a student have to go to school for more than 180 days. In reality year round schooling is just as long as traditional schooling. SOLUTIONS A reason for year round school is that it is more fiscally efficient. Since year round schooling has one group of students that are on vacation for a week while the rest of school is in secession, it allows for class room space to be used more and a single teacher would Evers # be able to teach more students because of the way that year round schooling is set up.
1 Care Street Community Care home CC1 1CC 27/03/2014 Dear Jane I understand that you want to work in the Care profession. As I have worked in Care for a couple of years now, I thought I’d let you know a few things to help you out. There are different terms used in care which would be handy for you to know, for example “duty of care”. Duty of care means you have a legal obligation to always act in the best interest of individuals and others. Not to act or fail to act in a way that results in harm.
We also have codes of practice and regulations to stick to within the home. Taking time to learn and understand the personal beliefs of the service users we care for is very important to deliver the best quality of care. Asking questions to the service user or their family is an advantage. You should keep an open mind at all times and never dismiss or put down a belief as this would obstruct the quality of the standard of care you deliver to the service user. I believe I have a quite good knowledge and understanding of meeting standards with the care I deliver to our service users and meeting the standards expected within my role as a carer.
The career path of neo-natal nursing requires a lot of work in nursing school and finding a good work environment, but the benefits of the job are outstanding. I have chosen this career path because I like to help people. Another reason I chose this career is because I enjoy being around babies and I think they are such a miracle. I will enjoy the rewarding feeling of being able to help as a new life begins. I realize this career may be stressful and even sad at times.
The people who work in health services, whatever the sector, need to be well supported to attain the right professional and clinical skills, as well as providing care with compassion, kindness, and respect for people. Today’s health workers must also be able to cope with everchanging patient and public needs and adapt quickly to innovation in service models. We are setting up a new system that can produce the flexible workforce we need to
I want to work in the government and I really love to work in Washington DC. But if the choice is mine, I would not choose the third offer but the first one. It’s just because I am still young and I don’t have child to take care, I have imponderable power to create my own value and I need tons of challenge to enrich my experience, and by the way, I love traveling, the first offer is just perfect for
As a key person I have key children who I monitor day to day. As I do this, I like to meet regally with their parents to update their progress and development. I also believe sharing information with my room manager is very important because, If I am absent from work one day and one of my key children are in, there may be a chance she doesn’t know certain needs that require for the child. I also think when talking to a child I would speak in a calm and kind manner, to encourage the child’s self-confidence and to help them behave sensibly. It will help build a relationship with the child and for them to be able to trust me and become more openly about any problems they may have.
