Lions, tigers and bears ``OH MY`` ever wonder what they have in common. Each of these animals is on the Endangered Species list; there are many endangered species in theses world which includes lions, tigers and bears. Over the past two hundred years, more than ten thousand species have become extinct worldwide, and forty percent of all species are endangered. Lions are one of the endangered species in the world. The Population of lions is: Est. 30,000 to 50,000. Now imagine that there are 20,000 to 30,000 lions left, that implies there are only between 3500 and 5000 male lions and yet the US imports about 550 trophies a year. Lions currently exist in Sub-Saharan Africa and in Asia with an endangered. Lions have been an icon for humanity for thousands of years; they also have been a popular symbol of royalty and stateliness as well as a symbol of bravery. Lions are endangered because they are losing their habitats to the change in climates; they are hunted and killed every day for their fur, and mane; and sometimes just for sport by poachers. The solution in making sure that lions are no longer endangered is by stopping poachers and putting them in to sanctuary’s that stops them from being hunted and killed, and to be aware of what’s going one. Tigers are one of the endangered species in the world. Here used to be 100,000 tigers in Asia alone and now there are only 4,000 tigers left around the whole world. The tiger is the largest cat species in the world. Once tigers ranged from; Java, Bali, southern Asia, eastern Turkey, to the eastern shores of Asia on the Okhotsk Sea, to the island of Sumatra, and to the west of India. Today, tigers are not found west of India or on the islands of Java and Bali. The remaining tigers are in China, Southern Asia, and Russia's Far East; these are mostly isolated habitats, and tigers are greatly reduced in numbers Because of
