«The humanity would never be civilized if we didn`t stop animals death» «The Observer». The World wide endangerment of animals and plants is a typical phenomenon of the 20 and 21st centuries. As we «happen to be» the best creatures in the world it is our duty to look after or at least not to destroy other species. Nowadays there are a great number of different campaigns for animals protection all over the world exist. For example, every year in Milan and Greece instead of fashion show women drop off the mink coats to protest against killing animals. In addition, World Animal Day is celebrated every year on 4th October. On this day, animal life protection in all its forms is celebrated, and special events are planned on different locations all over the globe. It is interesting that Perro sin Pelo del Peru dog became a national symbol of this country. And another example of respect to animals is attitude to Royal Welsh Corgis in England. Speaking about different animals I want to say that animals living in Zoos are actually protected from the threats of the outside world. They have food, vet care, and they are even breed in captivity. Animals that work in circus often suffer abuse from trainers. For example beating or deprivation of food. And when they can`t perform tricks or get old they are given away to Zoos where they die quickly. Killing sharks is a big thing in a lot of places. Some people catch sharks then chop their fins off so they can have it in soup. Then they throw their bodies back into the ocean and they let them drown and die. Fashionable Chinese restaurants Datong and Panxi attract fearless tourists to have a shark soup for dinner. Hundreds of thousands of seals are killed every year for their pelts, meat, oil (sold as a health supplement).The majority of them are hunted in Canada. Seals are usually shot with a rifle.
