The average person in Canada will live until they are about 75 and of those years one quarter will be spent learning. In today’s society education plays an important role in determining the lifestyle of one’s future. It is undeniable that the time at school is one of the most important factors in determining the lifestyle of ones future. A child goes to school to learn and a teacher to teach. The efficiency of a teacher can change Education is the most important part of one's life. The kind of education one receives largely depends upon the kind of teacher one has, especially in the early years of one's schooling. Moreover, in today's society, teachers come in all types and sizes. For example, some teachers are very good, whereas some teachers are not that good. Consequently, there are many qualities that one should possess to be a good teacher. These qualities are knowledge of subject matter, enthusiasm, and organizational skills. Teachers play an important role in the education of our society. Important skills and aspects to have are knowledge of the learning materials, respect for the children, good communication, and an understanding of the needs of the children. School is the place where we all learn and learnt many things in our life and it is the teacher who teaches us. Teacher needs to help children learn. With an ideal teacher you’ll find that you have learnt something new at the end of every lesson. First and foremost a teacher must be well educated. In teaching, successful communication between the teacher and his pupils is imperative. If a teacher cannot properly explain concepts to students in a way they best understand no understanding will be reached. Therefore the student will have a harder time grasping that subject.
