The place where I know I’m most welcome Throughout my life I have faced a lot in school and it was not only academy wise there were more to it, I used to be blamed for things I don’t know about. However I learned how to make all bad things good things and make the best out of it all. I realize that difficulties can make you accomplish a lot in your life without you fighting back. I move to America three years ago and came to the country with no idea of how the school system works and I did not have any idea of how they teach students differently. Trying to achieve what I want in life is really hard all I know is that I have support all the way to the end.
Decision-Making Process Paper MGT/230 Bonnie Mason January 20, 2014 Going back to school has to be one of the hardest decisions that I have ever made. I had so many different things that were running through my head. “It is easy to become so focused on maximizing on one goal that you lose sight of other important goals. You’re optimizing if you make sure that no important result suffers too much unnecessarily.” I had so much focus in my family that I had forgotten what it truly was that made me happy and why I really needed to go back to school. I have always wanted to be on the top of the pole in the career area.
I will never forget my past because it was such a big part of my life. It gave me the confidence that if I really want to achieve something, I know I can do it. As I lost more and more weight, the new friends got to my head quick. I forgot who my real friends were; I left them in the dust just because I was so excited to meet so many new people. It’s funny what happens when everything changes so fast; one forgets about who really cares about them and who’s been there for them since day one.
We were all taught that if we strive for what we seek, we eventually will succeed. The JROTC program showed me leadership, better communication skills, and being loyal and patriotic. Though it was a scary experience in the beginning, I eventually met my expectations. It also showed me that we sometimes think negatively about some things because we may not know where it might lead us. The quote, “Don’t let the fear of striking out, keep you from playing the game,” is what spurred me to continue in this program without fearing anything, until I was able to achieve success.
I fell in love with you the first time we met, and our bond would only grow stronger. Every waking hour I thought about you and was even planning how we could be together the next day. We had several altercations that got me in trouble with the law and put my freedom in jeopardy. Nevertheless, you were always there when I got released and it seemed as though the altercations had never taken place, because you were more than willing to take me back and be there to comfort me. Our relationship was undeniably rocky, but somehow we seemed to stay together.
I fear that if I cannot assist in the continuance of Benjamin succeeding within his mainstream school, this will devastate me. I also feel that I may have the potential to get short with those whom I am seeking change from if my demands are not met. This is because I have seen Benjamin grow up and as an advocate it makes me proud to know that he is excelling because of not only his hard work, but also mine as well. Conclusion Acting as someone’s advocate can bring much stress and persuasive negotiating, but will be worth the hard work in the end. There will be times when it seems that there may be no answer in sight.
They will feel the pressure and possibility of not graduating, which will have a great impact on them. With failing as a somewhat threat to their grades it can also teach students to earn their grades and work hard for what they have earned. Another reason it can be beneficial for students to know failing will be an option is that in the long run it can help their future academically. If a
Students can experience a more beneficial learning environment by having a longer school day. High schoolers in particular should always be learning and wanting to approach more opportunities. Also, having a better learning experience means having no stress from being really tired. When you are stressed, it can make you distracted and unfocused on your studies. If kids miss a day it will result in missing out on learning new things and they would need to make work up.
In my first year, I was struggling for the first semester, I had a hard time with my roommates who I had to live with, I had no choice, I couldn’t really pick. I didn’t mind them, but they would always have these huge and loud ridiculous parties, and I hate parties. Soon, though, two of them left, thankfully the two I disliked, the other two were fine, one of them similar to me as in he hated the parties, and soon two way better people moved in, who I became close friends with, and I still am to this day, Those two are the only “friends” I really consider myself having. They hated parties, they had VERY similar personalities, and we became really good
The results of some of your earliest decisions will in some cases limit the amount of success you will enjoy in your adulthood. That is why it is very important that the decisions you make are always processed
