I remember my dad telling me that “life is what you make it to be and with heart and confidence you can be just about anything you want to be.” Those words always run through my head knowing that anything is possible if you just take the time and try to make it possible. I am grateful and thankful for all they have done for me and will always respect them for all they have given me. My family taught and raised me to get past any obstacle and challenge the world throws at me. I know this medical field is no walk in the park but I will succeed in my studies to be a medical assistant no matter what challenge I have to face. This scholarship will be a helpful start in my medical assisting
There is probably no greater situation than me not seeing my kids often. I try to stay positive as best I can at all time’s. I am striving to further my education and follow my set goals I have for myself and my children. One day I will be able to have my children back and be able to be 100% in their lives. With my family’s help and patience I will succeed in doing so.
“If there is no struggle there is no progress,” these words spoken by Fredrick Douglas, reflect the essence of my families’ motivation to stay strong and always peruse a better life. This quote is especially significant to me because it reflects my drive and passion to achieve my own dreams in life. My parents played a major role in inspiring me to help other people, and to work hard to achieve my goals; they thought me by example. I realized that I have been blessed to have the parents that I do. I deeply value what they have thought me: the strength, integrity, and compassion for others.
I want to help anyone I possibly can, and most would use the word selfless. Almost all the time I am smiling about something. I am a very positive person and like to see the “good” in everyone and everything. I try to make everyone feel special, because they are. There’s more to that smile than just always being happy.
From my family and my friends, all of the blessings that I needed to have were there for me . I have no reason or no intention of throwing away the future I'm going to have. I owe this to my family, but one in particular. The man
Nobody can take away your level of effort. Another core belief that I have is to always look at the best in things no matter what. This belief helps a ton when you think that things aren't going your way. I got this belief from my parents also. My parents really believed in shaping me into a good person when i was younger.
They are stable financially and very loving people. During the years we have known them nothing has given us any clue that they are not first class parents. Now that the decision has been made to adopt as an agency you should be very excited that a couple like the Smiths’ has walked through your door. I have seen a lot of need with this system and not too many people willing to step up and help change the unfortunate hand an innocent child was dealt. The Smiths’ come highly recommended from us to you as being parents that some child would be lucky to have in their life.
I want to have a positive mind and just make the right choices. That’s my medial goal to have a job and be in college. My long term goal is to have a nice paying job with a happy family. I want to have two kids with a loving wife and with my mom by my side at all times. I want to be in a big house be able to by my kids anything they want and not having to depend on anyone.
Being a mentor is one thing, but having that mentor be a true friend that you can count on is another. Kayla and I share everything with eachother. Never once have I ever second guessed her as my friend. It's really nice to be able to vent to somebody, and know that they will listen to every word. That is what it means to be a mentor.
I don’t want anything jeopardizing my success so if I happen to meet someone with the same goals or mind frame it could work, but if not, I will have to wait until I feel I am ready to settle down. I don’t want to just prove to my family that I succeeded… I want to prove it to myself that I made it. Nothing is better than living your American Dream and having that feeling of succeeding. You just feel like the happiest person on earth. You feel like you’re unstoppable and like everything you have worked towards is finally falling into place.
