Many young artists of the movement were concerned with visual perspective rather than subject matter. Many people consider Manet to be a revolutionary artist because he freed art from subject matter and made the canvas important. Most of art today is based on that
The youth are very positive thinkers who do not care about tomorrow or even the youth are starting to become very creative, not just towards art work, but towards their own lives. I personally believe that all these assumptions are partly true, but in a way they are still forms of stereotyping. To some extent, these assumptions are true, but not every youth is a druggie or a know it all and so on. As I have stated before, every individual is different in their own unique way and should be treated with respect. The reason to why I think this way is because, I know personally if I were to be treated as if I was the same as someone else, I would not be very happy and would be very upset.
All circumstances evoke as an emotion for its viewers, such as happiness, awe, excitement, and fear. It justified by the situation when people are in a place which they do not like, a gallery with all blank paintings for example, they say: "this does nothing for me." I believe what they are actually saying is that the paintings did not evoke any sort of emotion in them. However, it does not mean that the paintings are bad, because it is not about the object itself but more to the different way of people in setting up the parameters and boundaries within their memory. Nothingness matter In modern art era, where Less is more was the most well-known principle, most of the works by modern artists were following the mainstream idea.
Bad experiences and feelings make the good feelings worth living for. If I were in a constant state of happiness I don’t believe it would be as great as it sounds because I would not be able to experience other emotions. Eudaimonic happiness means that we are happiest when we follow and achieve our goals and develop our unique potentials. Hedonic happiness means that we define the good life in terms of our own personal
They form bonds as a group together rather than being forced together. They want to succeed for the whole group as it is a morale boost for everyone to do well and improve cohesiveness. While on the other hand a group that doesn’t want to work together and doesn’t form a loyalty/bond with one another will ultimately put the whole group’s goals behind them and work for themselves. “Related directly to good communication skills are good listening skills. These skills are extremely important in the communication world.” (Ellis, 2009) 3) This basically says that without listening in a group people will never get their opinions heard and ultimately let down the group.
I argue that having the ability to be controversial is what makes art, art. In truth, "the freedom of expression" is a lie because while we all possess it, we don't speak our mind in fear of being ridiculed or having our opinions written off. Art is the only medium, where one's thoughts, no matter how controversial, can be presented in anyway they want, there shouldn't be a "taking it too far" with art. Everything is appropriate in art. Writers Week is a event that allows people to say things they would not normally say in a school environment, or share thoughts they wouldn't share with people, whether it be the f-bombs 'Mutts' dropped or the swears that student presenters uttered while reading their speeches, their art brought some crudeness into our sugar coated school environment.
I believe that if there is a God and He is great and loves us, then He would want us to think of others and volunteer and those type of things more than worshipping how amazing He is. That sounds very selfish to me. So this is why you should do what you think is right and not because someone tells you its right. Because if someone tells you something is right, they can still be wrong. No one can decide what is right or wrong except yourself.
When I proceeded to my first exhibit I was, honestly, mildly amused. As I examined the room filled with artwork decorating the walls, I could not locate a painting that would seize my attention until; I walked through the door and into another part of the exhibit. In this room I saw a painting that did just that, ravished my senses, but unbeknown to me this would be a regular occurrence for the duration of my visit. Walking through the different exhibits was captivating, with some causing me to feel deep emotion in just observing them. The sculptures were magnificent being able to pay close advertency to the detail.
To Maisel, that would be the smart thing to do, but I don’t agree with his opinion on the matter. I don’t need to stay within my intellectual boundaries. To achieve any of the goals I have for myself, I need to step out of my comfort zone. Sometimes that the only way you can figure out if a type of work is right for you. In Maisel’s own words he says “We are brighter on some days and duller on others.” With this in mind, proving that you can go beyond your native intelligence, is that much easier.
Public art can benefit us all because it helps green space, enhances roadsides, community gateways, pedestrian corridors and plazas. Public art is a community mission with no boundaries for participation and sponsorship it is funded byart programs, public agencies, general public, individuals, museums, educational institutions, hospitals and churches.
