A teacher with high expectations for his or herself will ultimately pass that quality on to their students. Caring comes naturally for great teachers. When a teacher genuinely cares for the students entrusted to them, they are able to reach them with greater ease. Great teachers make their classroom a place where caring is the norm. In a climate of care, students are more inclined to take up for each other, protect each other, and teach others how to care.
Always ensure opportunities for students’ success by giving tasks that are not too hard or too easy. Try to help each student find the personal meaning and importance in the material. I think what makes a good student is a hard worker that is going towards success and not following but leading. Another thing that makes a good student is someone who has good behavior, works on their school work, participates and puts forth effort. Another example of what makes a good student is somebody who takes a risk at class work they don’t know. That’s what really makes a good student because if they try hard and practice they will become a success. Those are the things I think make a good student.

The six SLO are Communicate effectively, Integrate technology into all fields of knowledge and expression, Demonstrate competency in critical thinking, Respect and work effectively with persons of diverse backgrounds and abilities, Demonstrate the behaviors of ethical and socially responsible citizens, and last one is Demonstrate personal wellness. In the real world SLO is very important; u might not need to learn all of them, but at least most, RVC knows that’s important for the real world, career and life we as student choose. Upon completion of the RVC, we as students should be able to recognize and understand SLO and master it. What is SLO?
A student just has to keep in mind they can overcome anything by being positive, determined and strong willed. A students learning style plays a very important part in academic success as well. All students learn and absorb information differently. Some are more hands on learners while others can visually comprehend lessons better. Students really need to explore
The students also have a daily planner that allows them to record daily homework entries. Each student is required to turn in the designated assignment/s to a designated “complete” homework basket. The basket has a designated area and each child is responsible for placing homework here. The children are then interacting with one another to ensure they are getting homework completed and correctly placed so that there is no penalty. When students see others doing this it quickly reminds those who may have forgot that they too need to place their homework in the basket.
They are continuously updating their knowledge, doing research, have important and original thoughts relating their fields, and are interested in what other people do in the same fields. Outstanding teachers treat their lectures with the same seriousness and dedication needed in other endeavors such as research or scholarships. They also create class objectives that can be applied outside of the classroom. Students are taught in a way that allows them to confront, analyze, rethink previous assumptions, and examine schemas. At the same time, students are treated with decency by believing in their capacity to learn.
Strategies For Constructing Meaning Reading and Writing Strategy #1 K-W-L Technique In this activity the students will think of what they are going to read and their knowledge of the subject before reading. Each student writes on a sheet of paper what he or she wants to learn from the reading. Students read the lesson silently and write what they have learned after they read. Assessment: Students reads & explains their K-W-L chart to the class Strategy #2 Create Graphic Organizers In this activity the teacher should choose the graphic organizer. One very basic and useful organizer is the Venn Diagram.
Being an RA/CA will help improve me being much more responsible with a job. Whenever I have a job I am responsible. But I feel as though I can never be more responsible. I take any job I have seriously. I hope to be a great asset to the school.
In turn, many of them did just enough to get by and had no interest in doing any more than that. This meant the students were giving minimum effort towards their already minimum curriculum offerings. Rose himself learned to tune out in the classroom, and how to get by while being only half alert. Also, the students did not hold their teachers in high regard. Many of the teachers did not seem to care if the students were learning or not.
