What a True Friend Is? Usually, we make a lot of friends in our life. Some of them are around us and some are far away. Some people have friends just want to take advantage of. Some will treat friends to dinner when they need friends’ help and when they have to protect themselves they will put their friends in a difficulty. Then what is a true friend? True friendship is like water, though tasteless but essential to our life. Compared with wine, water is insipid in taste, but is of great help to satisfy our thirsty. True friends don’t need to be with each other everyday, but are connected in heart every minute no matter where you are. True friendship is like good medicine, though tasted bitter, killing your illness. True friends give you good advice in point that you may feel harsh to your ear. They advise you when others are cringing, because of worrying that you may lose your cool head. True friendship has nothing to do with fame, power, or wealth. True friends will often stay afar when you are influential, but come to you whenever you need their help. You’re not their stepping-stone to success, but are their underprop in their lives. When you are happy, you are likely to forget them, but when you are in trouble, they are the first ones you will turn to for help. True friends make each other complete. They stay in heart, rather than at the side. They care each other as much as themselves, but never try to speak out. They cherish each other, for they know without each other they are struggling alone in the desert, feeling deserted spiritually. This is what a true friend
