By the nurse saying yes, and by her encouraging the patients to out do each other it is showing that she is gaining enjoyment from their pain even though she is telling them that it is for the betterment of them.
Koro had said, “Pai, go sit at the back. You’re a girl”. This short, albeit effective sentence was used by Koro because he wanted to quickly tell Pai that he didn’t care for her as much as the boys, just because of her gender. When a viewer hears this short but effective statement, they would immediately realise the great mistreatment towards Pai that she must endure every day due to the fact that she is a female. As Alice had to grow up basically looking after her self and her younger siblings she learned that even if you do not have support you still need to follow your dreams and live you life. This is a large aspect to how Alice discovered herself. Alice's parents get extremely angry at her and blame her completely for the accident. This circumstance is a critical one on Alice's journey to self-discovery. Alice learns how protective and careful she has to be while looking after her brothers and sisters.
From the first quote inserted in film, the disdain toward the students from the veteran teachers, to Mr. Daiders sheer will to continue to fight for his dream to educate the young minds of the future, the determination was a constant factor in the plot of the film. Mr. Daider went through mental and physical agony just to teach these students even when refused to be thought. His determination was only shaken when his wife’s pregnancy was put into jeopardy, which was one of the main symbols in the film. But instead of staying down and quitting, he continued to follow his dreams through the support of his wife. In summation, Blackboard Jungle was a testament to a war veteran’s perseverance to follow his dream of molding young minds and bettering the future.

The chief, also known as Koro Apirana (aka. Kahu’s grandpa) holds a ceremony for the opening of his new boy’s school to decide who is going to be the next leader. Kahu Apirana who is so stubborn, she decides to go to the event. When she reaches the ceremony she takes a seat in the front rows seats.
Scout claims that “[Calpurnia] likes Jem better’n she likes [Scout], anyway” and then proceeded to “[suggest] that Atticus lose no time in packing her off.”(25). She concluded Brigit might not have done the tests accurately because of the previous reading. Instead of addressing this issue she decided to avoid the confrontation and shoulder the responsibility of retesting everyone. In my opinion passive communication, although avoid confrontation is not effective because Brigit is left unaware she completed the tests inaccurately. This is an injustice to her and the students because she will continue to make this mistake unknowingly. The more effective way to handle this in my opinion would be to ask Brigit to demonstrate how to complete the test and show her what she is doing incorrectly.
The daughters in the stories thought their mothers were very pushy about some things and they did not like it.
