If I am having a conversation in person or by email, I will understand the meaning by using the words in my everyday life. How might this plan help you accomplish your reading goals? This plan will help me accomplish my goals by building my vocabulary, helping me to be more focused with my studies, and will have more knowledge about many different topics. Adding more words to my vocabulary is beneficial to me because I will be able to understand more of what my family, friends and co-workers are talking about. It will also help me with my studies, and also when I have to write a paper or presentation.

Roles, responsibilities and boundaries The simple way of describing my role as a teacher would be to say that I am there to ensure my learners get their qualifications (Wilson 2008:4), but the Lifelong Learning Sector covers more than just formal qualifications; many people just want to learn for the enjoyment of doing so, or an employer may have set up an internal training course without a nationally recognised qualification at the end. Learners could be aged 14 upwards and have many different learning goals. As a teacher I will do more than just deliver the lesson. I will have had to design the lesson and plan its delivery so that it holds everyone’s interest.

I have learned about my Learning Patterns and how to use them in a way that is not only beneficial to my success as a student, but in the tasks of everyday life. Upon completion of the LCI, I found that I am a Dynamic learner. I use Sequence(32) and Precision(27) at a Use First level and avoid Technical Reasoning(16) and Confluence(15). The levels that I use these Patterns affect the way I learn, approach tasks and solve problems. I pride myself on always being organized.
I then understood I have to physically know it, and mentally understand it. The fact that I now know that it will lead me to what I am ultimately passionate about, is what drives me and I find purpose. Studying, caring about what I’m learning, and actively using the information I have obtained makes my entire educational experience have meaning. Being able to effectively study and understand information comes down to what technique helps me learn the best. There are several ways to study.
It must be quiet or a white noise such as a fan. With an online classroom I have to create an environment that is similar to a real classroom. My ideal study time is very quiet and relaxing so I have time to concentrate. 3. What actions can you take to manage and eliminate distractions?
The three time management strategies I previously wanted to incorporate into my life were goal setting, prioritization, and managing interruptions. I am very proud to say I have stuck to my strategies. My intention for goal setting was to set small and manageable goals instead of overall goals that might seem intimidating. Instead of focusing on passing this class as a whole, I set weekly goals to do my best and learn from any feedback that was given. This allowed me to put my best foot forward each and every step of the way and made the class more exciting.
My goals are pretty simple . My first one is to finish school. It is very important for me to stay focused .I believe you have to know how to manage your time ,know your goals ,Anticipating the unexpected, set your priorities to meet your goals, Take control of your time , carry out your plans, Most importantly stay focused. 2. Time and stress management- I have learned that you have to eat right , sleep good, reduce stress, keep fit, and focus on my goals.
Self Assessment Paper Grand Canyon University I am a life-long visual learner innately curious about seeking a deeper understanding of human nature and the why of our behavior. Learning is the key component in developing my ability to cope with adapting, adjusting and finding new ways, approaches and techniques to improve my life. My best learning is by seeing what is being taught. I prefer visual representations such as textbooks, flash cards, charts, workbooks, lecture notes and even computer games. Additionally, whenever I approach anything, it is with a beginner’s mindset.
