Wearing a seatbelt is necessary for everyone. Millions of people die every year. Many people die every month. Too many people lose their children, friends and loved ones every day. There are countless reasons for deaths: suicide, fights, diseases, suicides... The list could go on for pages. However, one of the top reasons for deaths are car accidents. Some deaths cannot be easily avoided. The driver could lose control of the car due to technical problems or weather conditions, an accident could happen because of other driver’s fault, breaking driving laws could cause unsafe situations. Yet so many deaths could be avoided by doing something as simple as putting a seatbelt on when getting into the car. Laws is not something too many people care about, but it is illegal in most states to drive in a car without having a seatbelt on. Not wearing a seatbelt may injure and even kill the driver and the passengers in case of an accident. Also, not being buckled up may cause injuries and deaths to people different from the ones not following the rule. It is absolutely necessary for everyone in the car to put on a seatbelt. Quite many people think that wearing a seatbelt is not necessary and its just a tip for young, unskilled drivers. Many teenages are convinced that wearing a seatbelt is “not cool” and that their friends will make fun of them for taking on a safety measure. Some people refuse to put seat belts on because they are too uncomfortable. During an interview Bohlin one said, “The pilots I worked with in the aerospace industry were willing to put on almost anything to keep them safe in case of a crash, but regular people in cars don't want to be uncomfortable even for a minute" (Ecenbarger).
