Celebrity or felon, tattoos all carry the same message to me. It’s an insubordinate act, and it is not something we should be proud of or happy about. A huge reason why tattoos are without a doubt unacceptable is the fact that it could be the difference between you getting a job and/or keeping one. This is crucial
More often than not, we do not know what causes our pain. It could have been caused by an enemy, or a friend, or a relative, or a special someone, or even by oneself. It could be so painful that one forgets where it came from, and remembers only that it hurt. We are caught off guard by it, unaware of its gravity, and, in such excruciating cases, forced to drop everything in order to find a remedy for the pain. You do anything to get out of the hole you're in - and by doing so, you blur the line between what's right and what's wrong.
In my own opinion this causes many issues which can lead people to do immoral things and commit bad crimes, and be able to justify their actions by stating it was already determined for them to do it. With this idea you can’t be praised for doing good things or punished for doing bad as we did not choose to preform or commit these actions. Ted Honderich was a hard determinist and said all our choices, intentions and our actions are nothing more than effects from other past events that have already happened. David Hume would criticise this he argues against hard determinism and says we do have free will and moral responsibility, we are responsible for all our moral and non-moral actions regardless of whether they could have been determined by our past choices or values. John Hospers also thought all things were determined.
Assumptions should play no part in critical thinking but unfortunately they do, and often. I know as humans we all make snap judgments, but the idea is to push aside our assumptions and judgments when we think critically. Thinking critically is a skill that you either have or you don’t, the ones who have it will ultimately be the ones to thrive in their respective fields. Though it may be difficult to avoid making assumptions, as professionals we have no choice. We can keep our assumptions to ourselves but unless we consider all aspects of the situation we are not thinking critically.
To me it is unethical to betray myself and treat myself worse than the way I should. This actually simplifies a huge part of struggling inside my heart. In this principle I assume all normal human beings would not do anything to harm the others. Well, of course, I would not neglect the consequences. As usual, outcomes are always extremely important.
Sometimes we need to ‘feel’ our emotions, we need to grieve and naturally be sad when we suffer a great loss, or suffer from trauma. This is this is the body’s natural way of healing and is needed to regain the hope and to live life to its fullest. The body knows how to take care of its self with the least amount of resistance. Anxiety is acceptance of desire and the natural desire of life is to have purpose and direction, with hope to do better and to live life. As so beautifully stated, “there are two wings for life, anxiety and hope, and this is the desire to live
The world has become full of implications that are major issues. Due to human nature, people tend to care more for themselves than others, even though they are aware of major world issues that effect everyone else. Like Albert Einstein once said, “the world is a dangerous place, not because of those who do evil, but because of those who look on and do nothing.” Many people have sympathy for the needy, but do not contribute to the prevention of poverty. Also, in today’s society stereotyping has become dormant throughout the years, although there is minimal action taken to make it disappear. As well, violence is a serious issue, but when a violent act is committed nobody wants to get involved.
For those who are on a "negative" course, people who are really unhappy, confused, and perhaps self-sabotaging, regualar evaluation can point out some hard truths about oneself, and/or about the person, you want to take the next step with, and you will be face with the mmost obvious question. Is it love. Or infatuation. Love can be many things, including some of the following. A dynamic process.
If you don?t voice your feelings, resentment will build and the stress will increase. Be willing to compromise. ?When you ask someone to change their behavior, be willing to do the same. If you both are willing to bend at least a little, you?ll have a good chance of finding a happy middle ground. Manage your time better.
Prejudice is incurred by the hate we feel towards people whose customs and behaviour differ from our own; the fear of the unknown is the basis of all prejudice. Words are only powerful if we give them meaning, therefore, prejudice and racism are only powerful if society defines the fuel of racism. When Atticus states, “It’s never an insult to be called what somebody thinks is a bad name. It just shows you how poor that person it, it doesn’t hurt you,” (Page 108, Lee) it exemplifies his refusal to put stock in derogatory slang because he knows that only uneducated people would use such language whilst discussing the behaviour of another human being. Atticus told Scout and Jem that being called a “nigger-lover” does not matter because it has no meaning to Atticus.
