War Benefits Humanity The Boons of War Since the dawn of history, man has confronted various types of dangers. Some of them have natural origins like tornadoes, typhoons, tides, tsunami, floods, earthquakes and volcanoes. However, and unfortunately, some others have to do with humans themselves. Within this frame, wars head the list of human-made dangers which menace human's presence on earth. Despite their violent nature, wars could still leave some fruitful impacts on humanity. Consequently, war benefits humanity in defending one's right to live as well as his homeland, in changing some unfair global standards, and in appreciating peace and fraternity. At the very beginning, war enables human beings to protect their rights to live and to defend their homelands. Individually speaking, one aspect of human nature is gluttony. This means that human being has the sense of seizing everything for himself. Nationally speaking, countries or states tend to seize what other countries have got notably natural resources. In this respect, some countries invade and occupy other poor or weak countries for the mere reason of exploiting their natural resources. As a result, people of these weak countries resort to war to protect themselves and fight back the hegemony practiced usually by big countries. Sometimes such kind of war might last for decades. For example, Algerians fought France sixty years to get their independence. Had it not been for this kind of fighting back war, a plethora of nations would have just run extinct. Thus, war benefits humanity in keeping it multicultural and various. More importantly, war helps regulate the relations among big and small countries in the world.
